Our docs for citizenship were received on 20 March 2014 at the Sydney office. There is no info online (eCAS) for us yet ... hoping some acknowledgement comes through sooooooon!

Did they send you an email to confirm/check ecas or did you just go online. We've been checking my husbands email constantly .

I just checked randomly. ok random is a lie, I have been checking maybe every 2 days , the past week. The trend seems to be 40-45 days, so wait till then

So I couldn't wait to check online this morning ... and YAY our application has been received 21 Mar and in process 5 May!

My package was delivered in the week of March 17-21 and it showed up on ECAS today ( May 8 ). Yay.

Now let the waiting begin!

Hello all,

I finally have access to eCAS today (May 10, 2014). With two lines, Received and In Process. The In Process line states that they received my application on March 12, but does not state the date of when the application started processing.

From other posts, I assumed the processing start date will be there as well. Or did you all got the start date from the call center?

Its mean cic sydney didnt start processing of your application yet. You should wait more couple of weeks, if still processing date is not shown in eCAS then call customer serivce.

Ah, ok. Thanks Sahil. I was hoping they started the process, as they have received my application on March 12th. Looks like I got into the slow queue at Sydney..
