I thought they requested the medicals before they actually review your application.
Really?? What about the other factors such as education, or temporary resident status conditions, etc.??? And how are you so certain?? thanks.

Hi,

I have been following the forums since Sep 2011 and offlate they send medicals req only if these 2 requirements(Language & Experience) are met... If not they right away reject..

After medicals, if the background check and medical results are fine then your app will be approved.

So they assess you on all the CEC conditions prior to sending medicals. I'm assuming the background check you mean is security stuff or criminal stuff, right?
It'd make sense.

My timeline:

App filed: 3/16/2012
AOR: 6/7/2012
Med request: 9/13/2012

It's nice to see actual progress with my file, rather than just thinking "Oh, I'm sure they'll get around to it eventually...." ;D

I had been stressing for days about the medical since everyone who applied around my time had already gotten a response.. I'm so glad I got it today! This is my first post but I would like to thank everyone on the forum for their wisdom during the process so far!

Timeline:
App received: March 1
AOR: May 31
Medical: September 13

Any idea who the fastest DMP is in Toronto?

Also, did everyone else get it in the same format:

Hi Guys

I was requested my PCC from canada that I completed but I requested to get the results sent to me. I am seeing that you guys have been sending it straight to the case processing office. I just want to know if I have done something wrong or I can also forward these result once I get them from the RCMP office.

Also please advise if I can or cannot open the envelope sent by the RCMP office.
