yes they requested canadian police clearence with finger print and all. I did the electronic ones and requested them to be sent to my house because I though that way I can be sure that the report is submitted.
P.S - should I be worried if they request my police clearence from Canada

Hi,

they might have mentioned in that letter on how they wanted that letter , I mean directly from RCMP or you can collect from RCMP and then sent it back to CPP.

I guess usauuly these request responce should go directly from RCMP but anyway read that letter carefully and follow.

here is what they said. That is why I just mailed it to myself but everyone else has been sending it directly.

This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

Ø Please provide a certified RCMP criminal clearance based on the fingerprints of -------. Follow the instructions at----

Ø This must be received at this office by: 11/10/2012


Please note:
All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable.

The above information/documents must be received in our office within 60 days from the date of this letter. Please quote your complete application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the address indicated below.

I recieved an e mail for both on the same day. PPC in the morning and the medical request in the afternoon.

This post alone shows how complex and confusing this whole process can be. You'd think that the officer reviewing your case would send both at the same time. I wonder why they were sent at different times. So...unpredictable. You can get high blood pressure from trying to make sense of this process.

nope i didnt include police certificate from saudi arabia, coz its hard to obtain.. well im starting to work on it now, BTW I just received medical request today.. anyone knows how much are the fees for medicals? thanks

do we need to update/send info on our medical completion to CCP apart from waiting on Doctor to send those details to immigration dept?

the reason I am asking this question is I have received letter from the doctor that I have completed my medicals so just thiking whether good idea to scan the same and sent mail to CPP?

I guess you do not really need to do that, but I've seen some people sending a letter after two weeks saying that they have done their tests and the doctor has sent the result. They believed that this will speed up their process.

For Saudi police clearance.. it is not required unless requested:

If it is requested, contact the Saudi embassy in Ottawa. They will assist you in obtaining this document.
