Hi, Guys:
My husband applied this CEC category at March 28th, and got ME and PCC at September 18th.
I have a question about PCC. I have attached my letter here:
"This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate for yourself and your spouse (China). Please follow the instructions
The above information/documents must be received in our office within 60 days from the date of this letter. Please quote your complete application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the address indicated below."
Does this mean we don't need to supply RCMP report from Canada, just PCC from China is enough? We actully already did RCMP report six months ago, but now it's expired. We went to police office today to get an updated one. they said they cannot directly send to Immigration office, since there is not an actual name in the address. Instead, they will mail me the report to my home address first? Since we did electronic finger print, that shouldn't take long. So should I wait until I collect all PCC from China (already have) and RCMP reports and mail them together to CPP-O?
