I would want to know which country you are? And did you recieved any e-mail or letter from CIC before they approval your application ? I am worry about they don't received my application !

I am from India. I have received letter when my file has been approved from Mississauga and i have received email today indicate that to submit my PP.

Can I ask you did they send a request asking for your passport to the sponsor or to the applicant...as one of my friend who was the sponsor received the request for his wife passport......

Hi everyone, 105 days and counting, getting really anxious now.

Quick questions, how long after receiving PR does my wife have to move over to Canada? She is just a little worried she might not have enough time to finish off some loose ends before she has to move over to Canada, and with these long wait times, it's not like she can be completely prepared to move over and then wait around for months with an empty house waiting for a letter of PR to arrive.

Usually they base it on the medicals for the day you have to move to canada and now we have the possibility of medical extension.

Please don't be depressed! Our wait here means the Visa Office get over there backlogs and will therefore most likely process us faster!! That's the way I'm looking at it

Still you are lucky...I was Feb 28th and just got my AOR tonite as well....and there are still some earlier Feburians(??) who have nothing......nothing makes sense with CIC....absolutely nothing

No UCI number does not work and neither does file number......website says they update that database weekly....but who knows....I will just keep trying and eventually it will work.......maybe this afternoon....tried this morning and no luck......
