I received my sponsorship approval in the mail today. The strange thing, which I have never seen before in this forum at the sponsorship stage, is that they sent back almost all of our original proof as well. I think all of the photographs for sure. It was all just thrown in a disorderly fashion in a box, all mixed together. Boarding tickets mixed with wedding cards mixed with photographs, etc. We don't like the fact that the VO will not have the benefit of the full package of proof on which to base a decision, but oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Anyway, before people start asking all of the standard questions, here is the information:
Approval came by snail mail (obviously), sent from the Ottawa office.
They received our application on March 16
The letter was dated June 21
No AOR was received
I can log in to ECAS using both of our client IDs, but not any other numbers. For my spouse I used the client ID from a previous TRV application.
My ECAS shows decision made and my spouse's shows application received.
