if it's still no records, means they have'nt started ur applications yet

Well now I am worried they will send back my package. I didn't have my copy of the marriage certificate cause you have to wait 90 days for it so I put notes in app that would send it in when I got it but I haven't sent it in yet cause I don't have a file # to attach to it and don't know how they would know it was mine if I mailed it in without a file #.

Yes this is a big problem. They can't approve you to sponsor your spouse when they don't have a marriage certificate. They might just send a letter requesting it or they might return your package with a UCI number. But you can't get approval at this point. Call daily so you can get it in as soon as they start your file.

chickie. we realized there was a problem with our app, the day after we sent it. We sent the correct requirement off with a covering letter the next day. This is also what Leon advised.
In your position now i would be on the phone every day, and package up the certificate ready to go as soon as you can.

When I called CIC to send something in they told me to include a cover letter with my tracking number I used to send the application. If you have that I'd recommend doing that.

Just got the Sponsorship approval today and it could not get any better than this, as its my birthday today, please update the spreadsheet

I'm in the exact same situation. Send the certificate a week ago with a copy of our payment receipt. Dont know if they can find our file without any reference numbers but I tried. Fingers crossed, let's hope we're lucky!

I'm the type of person who wants something, wants it now!! But after going through the first stage plus going through a broken foot, I've learned that patience reaps in rewards. Try to stay calm and distract yourself somehow! I started a little business since I can't work, husband uses video games for his distraction.

I've taken up daily, rigorous exercise. I've started golfing again! I used to work at a golf course in Thailand. I played everyday for nearly 2 years! It felt good to swing the clubs again!
