I had a silly question, when i try to check the application status on CIC website, they ask me a consent question basically requiring me to click on removing consent for ability to view information on the website??? what am i supposed to do?

If you click on removing consent, you wont be able to view your status anymore. I have that on my page as well i just leave it alone.

So how do I view the darn info then? lol. All i see there is my name! and it says, if you want to view the status, click on the underlined link (removing consent)...Its a practical joke?

Just leave it alone, it won't go away, but don't do anything with it or you cannot login.

I am a Feb applicant but when did the new forms become available on the website? I did our paperwork a couple of months ago and they were new forms compared to when I did them the first time. So I retyped everything. But if something was new in February then I definitely missed it.

hey canadiangirl78 when I was working on my app I noticed some forms changed as well but since I did them in January in Cuba with my husband those were the onces I used and so far so good!!!! And I think it was just one form......it was driving me crazy....I started in October and then by January had to almost re-do everything and then in Feb I notice more new forms....grrrrrr......but I am sure it will be fine....

Just click on application received or decision made. You don't need to do anything with the section that lets you remove the ability to login. Don't click submit. Just click on the underlined options beside the name.
