MY BANK DRAFT ENCASHMENT:
I contacted the issuer bank (NBP Exchange Company Ltd. Pakistan) about 19-20 days ago by phone but no positive response they advised me to contact RBC.
I did contact RBC but they could not trace my draft as the reference number on the draft did not match with the reference number of their records because it was a foreign drft.
Then in last 2-3 days I had an idea of contacitng them by email because this way they can have time to think about what is asked.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Hope you are fine.
My email is regarding an inquiry about a Bank Draft. I have already tried to find out from the branch I got my Draft issued from but no response.
I got a Bank Draft issued from NBP Exchange Company Limited Mirpur Azad Kashmir Branch for CD$ 1100.00 payable to "Receiver General for Canada", on the 24/03/2011 the Draft number is __________.
Now I want to know whether this draft has been encashed or not by the "Receiver General for Canada".
Your help in this matter will be really appreciated. And I will be able to get a track of my application for Canadian Immigration.
Thank you very much.

Dear Sir,
As per your querry, you can encash your draft only by cancelling the demand draft. For this purpose you have to submit the original draft and to pay some cancellation charges.
Incase of any further querry, don't hesitate to contact following personnel.

Then I emailed Royal Bank of Canada;

Dear Sir/ Madam,
Hope you are fine.
After a big search I found this (e-mail us) service useful to ask about my
query.
Actually I got a draft (NO. ______) issued from NBP Exchange Company Ltd.
Pakistan worth CD$1100.00 on the 24/03/2011. The draft was payable to the
order of "Receiver General for Canada". And it was issued to the Royal Bank
of Canada.
I tried to contact and ask NBP Exchange Company Ltd. Head Office Karachi
Pakistan but they are unable to tell me whether this draft has been
encashed or not and said once we issue the draft the money is taken from
our account and we do not pay to the "Receiver General for Canada", it is
Royal Bank of Canada who pays the money on request to the account payee.
Now my request to you is that, please help me find whether this draft
(No._____), has been encashed or not. This way I will be able to keep a
track of my application for the Canadian Immigration.
I will be very thank full to you if you could help me in this matter.
Thank you very much.

They should be able to confirm if the Bank Draft was received.
