oo i forgot to ask. french is my mother tongue language and i study in english. do i still have to submit proficience proof in french and english? from my understanding i wasn't required to. please advise. any thoughts on when the interviews will be scheduled? i'm planning on calling them tomorrow morning to get some information as well

Please read below and also follow the link I have provided, as you have not provided your English and French proofs it does not look eligible according to CIO.

Skilled workers and professionals: Who can apply

Skilled workers are people who are selected as permanent residents based on their ability to become economically established in Canada.

Federal skilled worker applications are assessed for eligibility according to the criteria set out below.

For your application to be eligible for processing, you must:

* include the results of your official language proficiency test, AND
* have a valid offer of arranged employment, OR
* have one year of continuous full-time paid work experience in at least one of the occupations listed here.

Hi, I think you can claim 24 points if you can provide proof for proficiency of language in both English and French, if you need 16 points you can provide either English or French which ever you are comfortable with.

If you are applying for Quebec PNP or any other visa for Quebec then you need to prove your proficiency in French.

is it really true 1st per depends on visa office.?1st per review is done in CIO canada,then how visa office is involved in it???my vo singapore one of my frnd got per in 26 days,his vo is also singapore.bt I got per in 32 days my frnd n 26 days

Or do i have to wait till january of next year to apply for CEC. next year of February 8, i will be completing my 2 years skilled position here in canada, which i am qualified for CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS. As we all know that processing time for CEC is only 11 months. What do u think? If i apply through FSW with arranged employment again, probably we can submit my papers probably june coz we still have to wait for my documents from CIO, and then i will be getting response from them probably july. Then, they will transfer my documents to buffalo. As we all know buffalo processing time is taking so long and it say's 17 months. if i go with CEC, end of january 2012 we can submit my application and wait for 11 months. I NEED YOU ADVICE... i heard from 1 of my frnd when any 1 get ner he only get back refund money not the documents,and when application is incomplete totall application package returned along wth bank darft.if ur agent used his adress for correspondence thn he will receive it , if urs adress is given thn u will get it

So, you mean i cannot get all my documents? i submitted my original IELTS and police clearance. Those are important for me.

I m not sure about it. bt one of champion member of this forum told me when any 1 get ner he get back refund money bt documents are not returned.bt If it is incomplete all the documents and refund money wil b returned to u, as mine was returned to me as it was incomplete. i got back everything all document and bank darft after 1month 8days

You mean you got it back altogether. I called my lawyer just now and she said they will send the documents back because you still have another option to reapply again. You know what? it's not fair if do i have to take my IELTS again, get another police clearance from dubai. Thank u so much for your advice.

yes I got back evrything and I corrected my mistake and applied again,wtht that bank darft agin now I got per.actually I mnt sure about what they do if any 1 get ner.bt u will get money back for sure.u can ask some senior member in post june thread.post ur query following link.u will get more answes

It is not possible these are applicant's (your) documents and how they will not return them back to you, it is possible that they send you NER first then refund and then return you documents at two or three different stages but is is not possible that they hold/ destroy your documents which are your original transcripts, degrees etc.

It does not make any sense.
Do not worry you will get them back.
