Details in reference letter must include hours of work per week,annual salary,Details of main duties carried out in bullet points,
Duly signed by your supervisor or HR manager.
I have all my appointment letters (Current Job, Previous Jobs), relieving letters/experience letters (Previous jobs) and Salary slips (Previous Jobs & Current Job). But none of these documents lists my job responsibilities. They mention only designation, salary and duration of work.-
The responsibilities must appear in the content of the letter please.That is how the case worker at CIC will know that you carried out those tasks.Are your roles(main duties) mentioned in your appointment letter?If they are mentioned in your appointment letter,this may be considered but acceptance will depending on the person handling your case at CIC.I will suggest that you get a reference letter that will state your responsibilities to be on the safer side.
Would I have to contact all my previous employers for reference letters?Yes,once you declare them in any of the immigration application forms.
What if my current employer doesn't help me out with a reference letter (As asking for a reference letter would imply to him that I am looking to apply elsewhere)?If you can't get it please there are valuable suggestion in this forum on how to solve this problem.
