Yes CFO, not PDOS. We found out the hard way lol. After waiting in line for hours on end, and ready to go into the session, they realized. Next session is on Friday which is cancelled as the office is closed on Thurs and Fri for the papal visit.

So......lol...catching a flight early morning on Thursday to CEBU (already registered) to do the CFO and then late flight back to Manila to avoid further papal disruptions. That still leaves us with Friday CFO session in CEBU as a third backup plan in order to make sure flights take off on Saturday with both of us on the aircraft lol

I have been looking around and most people have "begun processing your application" before their medical results have been received.

Mine on ECAS shows.

1.We received your application for permanent residence on June 27, 2014.

2.Medical results have been received.


We did receive this e-mail on Sept 18th and no change on ECAS.

Dear Applicant:
This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada which was received at the Embassy of
Canada in Manila on26 August 2014.


still no word if they have started to process my application.
Is this normal?

To me, this is normal. I'd say you are close, but certainly still within "normal".

Hi,

Is no one updating the spread sheet or is nothing happening? No one has had their status changed to In Progress in 2015?

Also, just curious, does anyone know what are the reasons an application would be refused besides non-sufficient proof of genuine marriage? Ours is taking sooooo long so I'm freaking out a little. We are making plans for our big move but it makes me nervous without knowing what is happening with my husbands PR.
