Any possibility of getting an extension?

how long do you want??? your partner will have to get either a remed and wait for 3 months or reapply the whole application... which do you choose??

Just be ready for now... You had been waiting for this for the long time

Question for the forum - does anyone know how long the applicant has to land in Canada once they get their VISA? Is there a generic deadline? Do they usually try for the medical date? Would appreciate feedback.

Thx
GT
When were Meds done ?

Your VISA is probably already on it's way. By time ours showed DM , VISA was printed 2 days prior.

Hello kabayans... I have posted few queries here but unfortunately I don't get any response hopefully this one I get some help from my fellow Filipinos

Hello Seniors,

I am so worried about my past 3companies, would you please advise me & ease my anxiety.

1. 2012-present no issue I can provide the required work reference + any other supporting documents
2. 2008-2012 no issue as well I can provide the required work reference + any other supporting documents
3. 2007-2008 I can provide both required work reference + other supporting documents
~but problem is the company was liquidated. I can get live status from ACRA as a proof but do I really need to disclose this to CIC with notarized self declaration / affidavit?
4. Oct-Dec 2006 3months-I am under agency deployed to a client, I took the job temporary while waiting for oversea opportunity. I went back home to get a detailed work reference letter signed but unfortunately that company was nowhere to be found as it was already shutdown in 2007. I only got a standard work reference letter which only shows my job title & tenure. Do I need to get notarized self declaration / affidavit for this?
5. 2004-Aug 2006 I managed to get my ex boss to signed the detailed work reference letter in the company letterhead & I indicated my boss hand phone number on it. The issue was the said company was already closed down in 2007/2008, do you think CIC will need to call the company & do the verification even though it's 10years back? Do I need to disclosed to CIC that the company has already closed down? On my affidavit do I need to get my ex boss to sign it?

Please please help

By the way, I have few post here but I'm not sure if there's an easiest way to check the reply pertaining to my post?

Many thanks & good luck to all of us!

You think so? I don't think a Japanese citizen requires a VISA, do you know what it would be instead?
The meds are July 16th - I'm afraid they will only allow until that time. There are personal family issues that required a longer stay in Japan, so it's unfortunate if they provide a tight deadline.

you will just receive the confirmation of permanent resident (paper file) COPR.. I think you have till July 25 or 31 to stay in Japan to go to Canada

Heh gt. Step means the permanent resident visa. You get some sort of paper in the mail that you submit to immigration when you arrive. And I know what you mean about the deadline. Ours will be nov 1 and of course we can't leave then. Not with three kids in school. We timed it, or thought we did not knowing that the medicals expire after one year, so that the assumed 14 months would fall in the spring. Perfect timing for the kids to switch schools and the end of my contract. My husband will have to make a weekend trip to canada sometime between the time we get his visa and November 1st costing us an additional $1500 because the govt can't do this in a timely manner.

Let me know when you know what your next communication is with Manila and if you can extend the deadline.

Heather.
