Hi all,

Just checking for validity on this statement.

Are English tests mandatory for native-English speaking FSW applicants? I'm a US citizen that has lived in the US since birth. All of my educational background has been in English. Am I required to take an English speaking exam so that my application is processed?

I'm hoping that this is some sort of cruel joke. Considering I know nothing but English (okay, a little French - but not enough to say it's my second language), all my education and credentials have been through English-speaking schools/universities, and the exam costs almost $300.

If this is true, can any native-english speakers offer advice?
 
Yes - IELTS is mandatory for all applicants (regardless how well they know English). No IELTS results included in your application = automatic rejection.
