Not forwarded for 10 days, that seems really lazy of them. I think that's why you have to get on the DMP's @ss about forwarding your medical after you have a re-med. It pays to keep calling them and asking if they sent it yet! Sounds like you're near the end anyways!

Yeah. Took me 2 emails and 3 phonecalls from my husband before they finally forwarded it.
Just hoping for no more delays now.

Its been a while since i have updated the folks here at Manila thread for english speakers..

but.. my wife finally has her passport request..
they requested that she fill an appendix a form, submit her passport and her RPRF which i took cared of this morning.

I value everyone's opinion in this thread as it is the most knowledgeable and well experienced as far as I know..

for the APPENDIX A FORM ( is it only my wife who has to fill the form is does it have to include her sister, mom and who ever lives with her)?

your response is most appreciated

IKON...Im pretty sure she includes in Appendix A any others that are accompanying her or any dependents ? Someone else can hopefully confirm that. We just got PPR last week and were asked for Appendix A and passport..my wife has no dependents and only listed herself and her spouse....me.

Seventeenth of October we requested CGMS notes...and yesterday we initiated an address change..and got a confirmation response within twelve hours...somebody's working there... ;D ;D

thanks for the response.. there is definitely progress going on with the paperwork.. we were asked the same as well.. plus the right of permanent resident fee and the NSO marriage thing.. (we sent one before with red ribbon) dont know why they are asking again..

oh well the wife is on top of the paperwork,. soo who knows whats next

After remed was done last Oct 16th, another email was sent today from cem asking for selection certificate from Quebec. I hope this waiting game will end soon. ??? I kinda wonder why they asked for it, I believe that when we got the CSQ approval from Quebec, it was automatically forwarded to cem. During my application (2011), they never request it to be submitted to cem via mail. I even landed to Montreal without them checking the certificate. Maybe so much changes nowadays. At least it's moving, better than hearing nothing at all! ;D

i was wondering if someone can tell me the difference between the marriage certificate that we sent from NSO or the NSO advisory on marriage that CEM is now requesting for us to submit..

anyone have an idea what this is all about?

Hi ikon, the advisory on marriages will have details about your spouse only. It will state if your spouse is single, and a Certificate of No Marriage will be released, OR it will give details on what marriage/s the NSO has on record. Here's a sample I found on Google: http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j225/rubyj_2006/CENOMAR.jpg

Advisory on Marriages= CENOMAR for married individuals.
So when you request for CENOMAR and the record says you're married, they'll give you AOM.
This is CEM's way of checking if the marriage is legit.. No prior marriage/s that voids your marriage to your current spouse.

Yes, that's right! AND it cannot be emphasized enough that you make sure you are requesting a 'CENOMAR', (and as Iay says, they'll send you an AOM once they find a marriage). You start looking to request an AOM you'll get nowhere.

Please guys help me. I know I have been so paranoid lately about police clearance certificate. I don't exactly know what to do after talking to my friend in china that she couldn't do it on my behalf according to her the police officer that she had spoken did not know what police clearance means. My question is that if I cant get police certificate from China what will happen to our apps? Do we have any options? I am very worried right now since PPR is coming soon. We submitted our apps first week of June so I am very positive to get PPR if not this end of NOV definitely next month. As far as I know when CEM request additional documents, they will just only give us 45 days to comply them. So I am very worried now. How long will it take to get police clearance outside the Philippines?.. Your reply is higly appreciated,, Thanks so much

wella

the 45 days is just the BFD bring forward date,,,,not a date to cancel your application,,,,this is when they are suppose to check your file again if the reqd docs have been received,,,,,,,,,,did you try emailing the philipino consulate in china to see if they can help,,,or ask the philipino consulate in phils to ask for you,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Example CEM SUPPOSEDLY SENT US AN EMAIL AUG 1,2012,,ASKING QUESTIONS TO BE ANSWERED IN 30 DAYS,,,,WE NEVER FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS UNTIL FEB 23 2013 :o :o :o THIS IS A GOOD REASON WHY EVERYONE SHOULD SEND EMAILS TO CEM QUESTIONING THEM IF THEY REQUIRE SOMETHING OR WHY APP IS TAKING SO LONG
