if you don't have the visa yet like me you mite as well consider getting here b4 sept 30 and collect the 485 for sept family allowance

Ummmmmm still not collecting this i believe. Can my husband collect this one even if me and my daughter is not in canada? I brief story... My husband and i landed in sept 2010... Had to go out since my husband still have to finish a year of contract overseas.. Got pregnant during our stay out and had a high risk pregnancy and was not allowed to travel... Since we had waited 8 yrs for this chance to be parents we just could'nt take the risk. Long story short gave birth here. My husband finally settled in last year and started the sponsorship. We decided that at least one parent stayed with our child so i've been here just waiting for the time i can bring her with me but my time out of canada is about up and that's my big dilemma!! Well too long a story... Back to the question.. Can we collect the family benefit if we are not there?? Thanks.

This is in ontario? Or is it the same everywhere in canada?

Yukon, dont get flights that are going through USA!!! Filipinos cannot passby US without a transit visa. Get flights going to vancouver instead.

Plus taxes,,,plus exchange on US dollar charge, plus exchange rate, plus seat cost, plus fuel surcharge,,,plus this plus that,,,,,,,oh my a deal went sour :o :o :o :o,,,,,,,,,,,i cant find a deal on these supposedly first time immigrant rates,,,,and they are risky,,,,,like st raphaels travel agency office is a fish warehouse with 1 computer

I can get a ticket to los angeles for 576 candian dollars just about anytime,,,,,all taxes includedand a proper travel agency,,,,,,im sure this so called discount will be ,more than that,,,,,,,you mite get a fair price on the flight to Vancouver but if you need a connecting flight to another city you will pay up the ying yang
