you will never hear anything with CEM about that, only DHL will contact you if you have package to be delivered or for pick-up

It all depends on how many people are in line and how many flights come in at the same time. I would make sure you have three hours at least, maybe even more. You can let the person know there that you have a flight to catch too.

Baggage allowance is done by the airlines nothing is special for immigrants. And it is the first airline you travel on. I.e. if you go to Manila to Hong Kong on Cathay and Honk Kong to Toronto on Air Canada it will be Cathay baggage allowance.

I really don't know because when I called, the VO told me to go there asap but that was because my visa was ready even before the typhoon. hmmmm but at first she thought that my pp was not with them and they told me to bring it anytime. i think it is case to case basis. was she able to talk to a vo?

For sure, but it's still exciting (as you have said) to actually receive it. We did the same, for us when booking the ticket, the lowest available fare dropped considerably on the change of the month from January to February.
