Hey tagum.. So i ordered gcms notes/ atip they told me it was due to be released today .. So here i am woke early received an email from them ..

*Important message: The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. This decision affects automatically PAFSO union members in Canadian and overseas offices.
Please note that normal processing times for ATIP requests could be affected by the strike.

Just another question:

https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=manila

Are we able to submit our RPRF receipt here as well as inquire on our ongoing visa application?

Another question: do you input your wife (in my case the one im sponsoring) as the applicant and identifier of the inquiry? or yourself as the applicant as well as the identifier of the inquiry.

Hope someone can answer?

id say it would be quick if it wasn't for the strike,,,if you keep going through it you should find the dates they checked each article,,,security,,,,relationship,,,medical,,,,eligilbility,,,,,I think where it says for officer review, it is all worked on and just waiting for the VO to give the stamp,,,,,my app was up for review since feb 28, when I got the final docs in,,,,and when they started review june 25 it was all approved when MP called on june 27,,,,,,all was required was remed

Well see as how there isn't much going here right now, as we all sit on pins and needles waiting for the FLRB to hear out the PAFSO/Government case....

Time for another question, I know my wife once she is here, will have to wait out her time before applying for full citizenship. But my question is what about her (now four, will probably be shaving by the time he gets here) son? Does a minor have to wait to apply for citizenship as well?

Does that change if the child is legally adopted by myself? (This was an option we where considering, just incase something should ever happen to mom, and he is left without a natural parent - not even sure how all that works as it is)

her child under 16 becomes an automatic citizen when she does,,,,,and of course if he was yours he would be an automatic citizen

Here is over supposedly. Once PSLRC decision is issued, each party will have 10 days to appeal. No timeline on decision.

"As the dispute dragged on into the summer, it launched a full withdrawal of visa services at 15 key processing centres but those considered "essential staff" are still processing visas for refugees claimants" WHAT THE FOOK,,,,WHAT ABOUT MY WIFE

The slowdown in processing applications is affecting tourists, businesspeople, temporary foreign workers and international students and the union believes it's having a "severe" economic impact. The tourism industry has estimated it could lose at least $280 million this summer,, :o :o WHO CARES
