Contacting my MP! What a novel idea.. I guess the problem here is there's 2 different departments, provincial and federal that are not seeing eye to eye. So I will contact both. Thanks Mr Ski!

Was just looking at what is needed for OHIP and have a similar situation. You need 3 IDs and the second one will take at least a month to get. So I guess I'll have her get the Ontario ID, then when it arrives 4-6 weeks later she can go for the health card. They will accept the COPR or landing record though.

I was just thinking,,,,here I am checking ecas and the first thing I see is my wifes address,,,,hoping its changed to mine,,,,,,why don't I just contact them and tell them her new address is my address,,,,wouldn't that fook them up, her having a Canadian address,,,they would have to change it on ecas
