We hope to get the 10 year multiple entry visa so that we don't have to worry about this again!

Going through the US border as permanent resident is a headache ... at first

Sure! We scheduled an appointment for the second week of Sept. No weekend appointments so he had to take a day off work. It says nobody is allowed to go in with you except interpreters so I might be an interpreter. I figure if they see that I'm a born Canadian and he will be with me together on our trips we will have less hassle from them. Plus I think he needs my interpreter skills :D

Wow, every year.. that's kind of inconvenient. Especially since going to Vancouver for us requires an overnight stay and about $150 in ferry costs plus a tank of gas plus the $160 application fee and meals.

I have a question for people.. not sure what needs to be done. When a spouse gets their PR can they visit the US without and extra documentation? What about the UK?

As for the UK, looks like you need to fill out a visa too...

Save on the meals... Moose can bring cooked crabs :)

Wow! Luckily Moose and I have already been to most of those places.. except Vegas.. he still wants to see everywhere in the USA though. Something about a Filipino's obsession about the US, Canada just isn't the real goods especially when putting up Facebook photos to impress friends back home :D I saw some great air/sea deals to Seattle and we really want to avail :D USA is tops when it comes to great shopping.. yeah I can relate!
