Speaking of skiing, I need to learn ice skating my son loves hockey so much. Hopefully I dont fall that much! Hahaha :D
Oh, the ice skating was so funny in the Mall of Asia! I felt like a figure skater :D
Your son loves hockey? What's his favourite team?
I'm not very good at watching hockey but I'm around it a lot. At the fambly party next week my man will meet some real live NHL-ers ;D not bad for his first day in Canada. I hope he will start to be a fan :D At least the fights are fun.

Yeah, the Korea route looks good too. Same time of 17 hours, 50 minutes in total. But I've never been in Seoul airport so she would be on her own for directions...

And as I said, you do not leave the plane in Vancouver for PAL, so no immigration till Toronto. It would be impossible to process a plane load of people through CBSA and immigration and get them back on the plane in under an hour. They just stop, let people off, presumably take people on, and go.

PAL said when the flight stops in Vancouver, all passengers are required to deplane and clear immigration in Vancouver, and will take the same plane to Toronto after clearance.

This is what I think too. I remember reading this either here or on red flag deals

I would have thought that makes the most sense. Once you land and take off again you are now flying domestic. They would need to clear customs and immigration prior to re-boarding. How many on board will be returning Canadians and how many will be immigrating is anyone's guess but certainly not the whole plane.

I think it is also by law too.

I thought truesmils'e wife did that flight and she did not have to de-plane. Think about how much hassle it would cause with everybody going off and on the plane. Plus the carrier is not running as domestic within Canada. I don't even think it's licensed for that. In Toronto it will say Philippine Airlines flight 000 arriving from Manila.

i think its just a recent change because Manila-Toronto was supposed to be a non-stop flight when PAL launched it

Oh okay. Maybe you can calculate the difference in landing time. Usually lands in Vancouver at 12 PM except on a few days it's 4pm.
