Provincial nominee processing time in Philippines takes 11 months only? Duhhhhh???..... Now I see, family reunification is the CICs priority.. ::)

Both are ridiculously long... Everyone that asks me about my case are always in shock about how long it takes. It gets really annoying when you get asked "have you heard anything yet"... by people on a daily basis.

And the people who are surprised by that because they think it's so easy to immigrate, since there are immigrants everywhere!

Exactly...

It looks like most of the activity (in terms of new PPRs) is happening around a SA approval date about the end of October...

;D >:( :P ??? :D :-X :)

That's the big insult. If my wife had applied after we first met in 2009 and I sponsored her as a PNP she would have been here 2 years ago.

Hey Steph, did your man get hold of CEM or is he still listening to gossiping ladies on the the phone?

They insist they were phoning him and his phone was out of service.. That's even what my MP said that Manila said. They sure don't try very hard. He's reasonably good with keeping his cell phone around, for a guy. But lately his ex has been bothering him, a lot. So I think he turned it off on that day in a rare move to preserve his sanity. The fact that they claim not to have received his medical, but have received his kids medicals, which were sent in the same email, is a bit stoopid.

Tomorrow, I will email CEM with these exact details as recommended in the other thread:

Date of initial medical examinations
· Name of Designated Medical Examiner/Panel Physician
· Date treatment was completed for your dependents
· Date results were forwarded to our office

I wonder what the chances are of any of us being on the same flight out of Manila to Vancouver should all our spouse get their COPRs at the same time?

Party in YVR :P :P :P

Hey everyone,

Just found this forum. Wish I knew about it months ago so I didn't feel so alone during this process.
Quick info:

Filed - Sept 7th, 2012
Sponsor approved - Oct 15th, 2012
Received Manila - Oct 30th, 2012
Status - Application Received.

All my meds and stuff was done with original package. We were married last June, and have two children. First was born Feb 18th, 2012, and second was born Feb 19th, 2013. No wasting time there! lol. Both kids are being taken care of under the Canadian Citizenship process, and only my wife is being sponsored. I have been flying back and forth, since last March until now, 8 times already, and have the next trip booked for June for our anniversary.

Quick question, when they are requesting for my wife's passport, will the status online change from "Application Received". I am just worried that they are trying to contact her without getting through. How were any of you contacted? And did they ever contact the Canadian Sponsor?

Thanks, and I hope the best for everyone! Great site and spreadsheet!

By the way things are going....there is a really good chance of that. Since I won't be there, maybe someone could take pictures for me...haha

Welcome ;D

As far as what's happened to most of us, they will email the passport request to both sponsor and applicant. But I think the rest of the correspondence goes to the applicant. My partner has been contacted by email and by phone a few times.

At some point your status will change from "Application Received" to "In Process." Often that happens some time after the passport request, but for some people lately it's happened before.

It sounds like you're right in line for the next PPR!

If you guys do get them at the same time, maybe you can get a group deal ;)

I will canvass all the Filipinas on the flight Lucky. If she is onboard we will take good care of her.

Thanks! I hope so too. I hate being away from my girls, they are growing so fast :)
