I am puzzled by the fact that in this month (for the first time as far as I can tell) six people received "In Process" on ECAS without any email asking for a PPR:

Franc-Jon and Kazekage on April 8th
M&M and Meoh12595 on April 12th
DJ88 and Dexhaz on April 15th

However this week the first two of these people have gotten passport requests.

I wonder if this new phenomena means anything?

LOL :D ....so long as he feels no pressure to compromise his readings of the chicken entrails
He may be a native rooster but he is not corrupt :P

I wonder if there is a queue for PPR's now? Maybe the app is marked 'clear' and it's put in process.. somebody has to compose the PPR email. I bet since you're not due for remeds you will get the Gordie Howe Hat Trick of visas soon - PPR, DM, Visa.

If you think of it logically it really should go in process first, then PPR, then DM, then VISA. I think the PPR first is a relic of the old way of doing it where they just asked for them and sat on them for months. Other VO's always seemed to PPR late in the process.

Maybe they are running out of storage space for those things ::)

Saw this comment on the sheet:

For the type: married, conjugal.... I think we could put the number after for number of dependents like. Married1/married2 or conjugal1, common1 to know if you have dependents or none. Just a suggestion guys.

This makes sense. Like Tagum-N.B. has a dependent as well. Just need an good way to list it so I can query it easily. Maybe something like add "+" if there are dependents? So Married+, Conjugal+, etc? Or do we want to know the number of dependents? I'm not sure if having 2 is slower than having 1. But having 1 probably is slower than having 0.

What do you guys think? Or do we have enough detail now?

If that is not a huge hassle for you, I will even give you my info, I am sponsoring my wife and her son. Her son has a father other than myself, but the father is marked as unknown on the child's birth certificate (if that has any inpact).

Just thought I'd report that my wife just finished her medical at national health in cebu. It's walk in.. Which is handy, and they said that they'll send her medical results with the pdf from the remed request in 3 days to the Embassy.

Right now she's at cfo getting her seminar too... And her passport will then be sent after.

Whoa... She means business... I love it!
All in 1 day.

Cheers!

It's a good idea. It would be good to have any kind of clue as to what would slow down an app. So for me would it be Conjugal +2 or not, since they are being examined but not accompanying.

+2 for 2 dependants coming
-2 for 2 dependants not coming....

Just a thought?

she is anxious...that's good :P

The +/- thing could work. So Married, Married+1, Married-1, etc? Well, fill in your info that way and I'll work out parsing it later. Getting the data is always more time consuming than figuring out how to use it. :D

It was so funny the reaction in my guy too. I mean he was an OFW and worked his butt off. But since being back in the Phils he has got so lazy. I have to be such a nag to get all the documents.. he's always complaining it's hot, wakes too late, he's tired, hungry. But since the PPR and the Remeds he's been nothing but business. He was in there before I could even start to think how to micromanage him :P :P Up early, kicking @ss, taking names. :D
He said it felt like he just escaped from Hell.

The activity on your application reinvigorated him; I can relate to that. After experiencing years of being busy at his job on the cruise ship he felt lost and somewhat useless alone there at home with nothing pressing to do. Now he feels inspired and motivated.

This does make sense Scos. I hope you are right.
