I doubt they flag it for how easy it is. In stage 1 mine went past the already long wait time so I got to call them about it (it was sent to Ottawa). I was told it hadn't been opened yet. A a couple of days later I got the sponsor approval.
There shouldn't be a lot of red flags on my app for stage 2. I knew my wife for years before we started a relationship, and were in a relationship for years before we married, and our app was sent a couple of years after that (though that was due to various complications like self employment, delays in paperwork, etc). Plus I included a lot of letters from family and friends about the relationship. So if they were flagging them, mine should have been flagged as being fairly simple. The ONLY outstanding item is the expired medical. The fact we haven't received the re-medical request leads me to believe it is sitting unopened in CEM. Another possibility from what I have read of some other experiences with apps that went through Ottawa is that maybe they lost parts of it so they have shelved it for now.
As for the spreadsheet, I can move the purple fields to right after the sponsor approval fields which might make it look a little neater. And I can add a type right after the user name but getting the data will be tricky as not everybody specifies it.
