I have a question, sana po may makasagot.
I just arrived last February as PR. I have a girlfriend back home who is married but is already separated. My girlfriend and I have been together for three years now, more than two years before I came to Canada.
The problem is I did not declare my girlfriend and her kids in my application as PR because she is still married and you know how it is in the Philippines. I only learned about conjugal partners last night and I got excited with the possibility of sponsoring her and her kids. However, I'm thinking that the Immigration Office might think differently since I did not declare our partnership in my PR application.
Please help us. We have loads of proof of our relationship including joint bank account, remittances, various items that I bought online with her as the recipient, I have named her as beneficiary in my life insurance, we have plane tickets, photos with her kids, friends, and family, emails, fb messages, bbm chats, phone bills, etc.
I hope that the non-declaration will not be much of an issue. Or that they would, at least, consider my reasons for not declaring her and her kids.
