when did lvo received u r documents ?? i think they will post all doxs once in a month (all at a time). i hope you will get MR by this month ending.
do not worry Chizzy. waiting is the only option. do not send CSE frequently. my application reached 30th sep 2011. after exactly 1 yr on 1st oct 2012 i got MR.

LVO recieved my documents on the 10th of september, I do hope they send it just like they did for you.
Am into the game already , no much options than to wait.

It depend on the Number you have sent, you can allow few days so that you don't overburden them with Enquiry

Guys i think those people who are requested to send again the schedul A form are victims of another LVO 's planned game. They devided the people into groups since they can not process all in one time. I think even they might eliminate some of us afterwards. So we should be smart and be careful of potential things which might endanger our applications, like minimum fund in account. Maybe they start asking us to submit bank statements, since they know that some people who wait for long time might give up and use their show money.
I know that i look negative, but during last more than 14 month i read many cases in this forum which many applicants have been victimed innocently.

yes requesting the form might have a way of delaying the process but not denying it, most who got the request to resend the schedule A form are already done with their medicals, so have less chances of denial (I might be wrong but stand to be corrected), how many cases have been rejected after medicals and resending of schedule A form?. Mr E and ther members please what do you think?.

That could be a thought only with less practicle relevance, have faith u will receive MR soon, my additional docs were also recived by LVO on 10th September and then on 2nd October they requested Form A again .... at least u should be happy to not receive Form A request again 2nd time like me.

The best way to deal with the scedule A is to create a spreadsheet in the exact same format as the alloted space to they provide to fill in the answer.

Have no gaps. Even if the gap you are filling is 2 weeks and it simply states "Time taken off between starting new job"

If you have any gap where you think you need to explain make sure that you have it in the answer but mention that you have explained this gap in a more detail below the spreadsheet.

The Schedule A is very much a tick bash for them. Does it have any gaps? Does this go back to their 18th birthday or 10 years (becareful if only going back 10 years, I got pulled up for this so on my third attempt I went back to my 18th birthday to ensure completeness)

The VO will want an extended Question 8 answer in their format and not of your own (again a mistake I made)

Hi,

Today i received an email from VO stating that there appears to be gap in our Schedule A. I think this is regarding forms which i send with my medicals.
When i checked the forms I noticed, I have already provided them with the details regarding gap time period.

What to do in this situation ? Does it indicate any hurdle ? I am confused and down !!!

There are times we get so frustrated waiting that all sorts of ideas creep in. But I am sure Aba's fears are not true at all. The VO's performance is also appraised and they cannot resort to cunning methods. It is not their concern nor the objective to try and refuse many. All they are concerned about is doing the assessment accurately. Remember they can be sued if they are at fault, they won't take such risks.

I believe the VO's are all working very hard and are equally victims of the system as we are. I'm sure many of us can relate to this while working in our offices. It's not always our fault that we are unable to perform the best. The program assistant cannot forward your papers for security checks (which is to a different dept) with gaps in your history. If they do, it will be returned back to them and reflect bad in their performance. They have to ensure everything is correct and complete before it is sent for further processing.

We have seen so many getting confused with the past 10 yr or since 18 yrs requirement. When we did our application we did since 18 yrs, just use the same and complete for the next year or so and send them. At least the new members know this problem and can ensure they send the correct and complete history to avoid any delays.

There are times we get so frustrated waiting that all sorts of ideas creep in. But I am sure Aba's fears are not true at all. The VO's performance is also appraised and they cannot resort to cunning methods. It is not their concern nor the objective to try and refuse many. All they are concerned about is doing the assessment accurately. Remember they can be sued if they are at fault, they won't take such risks.

I believe the VO's are all working very hard and are equally victims of the system as we are. I'm sure many of us can relate to this while working in our offices. It's not always our fault that we are unable to perform the best. The program assistant cannot forward your papers for security checks (which is to a different dept) with gaps in your history. If they do, it will be returned back to them and reflect bad in their performance. They have to ensure everything is correct and complete before it is sent for further processing.

We have seen so many getting confused with the past 10 yr or since 18 yrs requirement. When we did our application we did since 18 yrs, just use the same and complete for the next year or so and send them. At least the new members know this problem and can ensure they send the correct and complete history to avoid any delays.

Its true that this form can be very confusing and we are asked to fill it again if there are gaps.So it's not VO's fault at all.

When is my MR coming???????????????????, its been 1 month I sent the updated forms,
By october 19 its also going to be 1 year from the time I filled my application
Please anyone have any idea of the time it takse to get MR after submitting updated forms,
I am getting tired of waiting and not knowing when the wait will be over. :'(
They havnt even replied my CSE sent since 2weeks ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, it sucks really hard ;D

Just a little more wait,mate.I know its hard but no way out.I am sure you'd get the good news soon.

Wow!! 3 weeks to get PPs back with visa is a great result.
We want to land also ASAP but B is gotta give notice at work and the contract for the house ends in March but looks like they are gonna let us end it b4 that. Because the kids are still very young we don't wanna rush them too much and we don't want to buy any tickets until we have the visas in our hands (which I calculated that being about middle of november if it were to take 6 weeks), so we thought end of January could be good as would give us time to sort out paperwork, get rid of stuff and get the bits the kids will need (clothes wise).
Anyway, don't forget to get your thermals they will keep you nice and warm and also a good winter waterproof coat!!!! ;D
I've got a relative in Calgary and she's told me to try and get the 1st place you rent including utilities (unless until you get use to know how much you'll use and the cost). If you need any info about housing pls let me know (I've based my search in Toronto but I reckon the sites I've used are for the whole of the country)

I actually gave my notice period before getting the passports back, though my wife advised me against it. I just want to be in Canada like now now. Hope Nov is still manageable in terms of cold as I come from the other extreme where it goes even 50 C in Dubai. We plan to buy all our warm clothing in Canada as this has been the suggestion from many who migrated.
There is very little info on Ottawa available, infact I was thinking of starting a new thread hoping to get some advise about the city. We are certainly looking for short stay with utilities until we figure out where the safe neighbourhoods are and also good public schools for my daughter and then move for long stay. I'd very much appreciate if you could share some info from your research.
Jan would be very cold but I guess you would be used to that climate staying in the UK.

Guys i had a chat with a friend of mine who applied at 2010, he was telling that the lvo is very lenient now a day's because such a matter, having gap in background history, was not tolerable those times and Lvo used to reject the application, but we've seen that Leo patiently asking for just sending again the form with necessary correction. Which i mean we are very much luckily than previous applicants and this a good sign for us. Still there is long time till lvo receive the2013 applicants and i hope all of us will get through and have our visas.
You know, we should accept that the processing stage after mr is out of lvos hand, main part of it will be completed by outsource parties and mainly depends on how many country you have been stayed.

Should I believe this?? dont think so, because it will only worsen things for me by thinking towards this direction.
yes requesting the form might have a way of delaying the process but not denying it, most who got the request to resend the schedule A form are already done with their medicals, so have less chances of denial (I might be wrong but stand to be corrected), how many cases have been rejected after medicals and resending of schedule A form?. Mr E and ther members please what do you think?.

I think there is 2 reason why VO may ask for forms again (I was asked to re-send form A too). Either the VO has found a gap or the form was filled for info only for the past 10 years. I know the updated forms to say in Q8. "personal info from age of 18 or the past 10 years whichever comes first". However, that does not comply with the LVO requirements, which needs information from the age of 18. Unfortunately the forms are geenric ones issued by Ottawa and the LVO cannot do about it (I know this because that is what my VO said to me). When I was asked for them my VO gave me the option to scan and e-mail the forms and that saved me time, also I has already done MRs. And within they I got PPR.
The fact that they have requested the forms again is not too bad. It means they are working on your file. And if you had had already your MR done it means that your file is back with your VO and the med section is finished assessing your MR.
