I am soooo happy! ;D Finally some relief... The medical request is dated 2nd August 2012.

They also asked for the following documents:

• IMM0008
• Schedule A Background/Declaration
• IMM5406
• IMM5562E
• RPRF

No updated PCCs request, which is a huuuuuuuge time and money saver for us (since I would have needed 4 including translations)!

I have a question regarding police certificates and affidavits. I hope somebody can help.

I was wondering whether I have to send police certificates that are not in English or French together with an affidavit or is it sufficient to send them together with a translation by an accredited translator?

I checked the instruction guide from the application pack and I am confused. ???

Under section "Police Certificates" it states the following:

"If a certificate is not in English or French, submit both the certificate and the original copy of a translation prepared by an accredited translator".


But when I looked under section "Translation of Documents" it states this:

"Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document."

So under "Police Certificates" it says it only has to be an accredited translator and under "Translation of Documents" it says that any document has to be accompanied by an affidavit. This is a big difference as the affidavit is a document where the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. And it is very expensive here in the UK.

All you guys, who had a request for updated PCCs, which were not in English or French, did you send an affidavit with it or not?

I'll appreciate any help or clarifiaction as I am really confused.

U need to add details of your new born, along passport detail and birth certificate number in national identity document
Write none in education and occupation
Select type a dependent (under 21 )

I have read in one of the thread (dubai thread) from one forum member that they have stopped accepting drafts from exchange houses. would anyone know if this is true?

CONGRATULATIONS MIKKI!!!!!

You did not need that translation advice after all (was gonna get them to you today). It's good that new PCCs are not needed that should meant should criminality shouldn't take longer than MR since they may have started them already. With any luck your PPR should close to 3rd line. If you're any close to london I would suggest you go to the Bridge Clinic, very smooth Meds. and only £250 for adult.
I was asked for same updated forms as you by the way. Good luck on MR and follow Now's advise, plenty of water is good and you could also have your blood pressure tested just to be on the safe side.

CONGRATS TO ABA2011 FOR MR!!!!!!

On a funny note, we got an e-mail form my ex-consultant yesterday apologizing for no replying to us (after more than 3 months). They still didn't reply to our questions though. They only said they have received our new contact details and that we also could update them through they're site (which was what I did in the first place). They asked me to provide with certified copies for new employer bits (which the LVO never asked for) and obviously they did not mentioned anything about the update they should have requested the LVO in May.
What a bunch of muppets, they did even know that they are not dealing with my application anymore.....I so wanted to tell them...I ALREADY HAVE MY MR YOU W*****S!!! But I think I'm gonna wait to see how long they take to send me a reminder and then I may already have my visa by then and rub it in their faces.....

QUESTION FOR THE UK RESIDENT MEMBERS:

DOES ANYONE ONE KNOW HOW LONG WILL A DRAFT TAKE TO BE READY? IS ANY OF THE BANKS QUICKER?

Hi guys, would you know if bank drafts from exchange houses would be accepted? I have used the same for my initial processing draft on Sept 2011 and for my RPRF i have also used the same exchange. I have read in one of the thread (dubai thread) from one forum member that they have stopped accepting drafts from exchange houses. would anyone know if this is true?

I use Al Rostamani for all my exchange needs, however, when I contacted them for a draft in Canadian Dollars they said they are not allowed to issue it anymore and only banks can issue them. I also double checked with UAE exchange and same reply.
I used EmiratesNBD bank for the draft, the one in Burjuman is open until 8 pm (not sure about Ramadan timings)

CONGRATS TO ABA2011 FOR MR!!!!!!

On a funny note, we got an e-mail form my ex-consultant yesterday apologizing for no replying to us (after more than 3 months). They still didn't reply to our questions though. They only said they have received our new contact details and that we also could update them through they're site (which was what I did in the first place). They asked me to provide with certified copies for new employer bits (which the LVO never asked for) and obviously they did not mentioned anything about the update they should have requested the LVO in May.
What a bunch of muppets, they did even know that they are not dealing with my application anymore.....I so wanted to tell them...I ALREADY HAVE MY MR YOU W*****S!!! But I think I'm gonna wait to see how long they take to send me a reminder and then I may already have my visa by then and rub it in their faces.....

It take just 2/3 working days,,barclays is quicker .if u have a account with....
