Good Morning Forum Members!!!!

At 9:55 am UK time there is no updates on my side I'm afraid...but still waiting for post (at some point after noon I would think).

Regarding the movement for MI1 & 2s, when I got my first e-mail reply from LVO on 03/07 they mention that my file is "is going through the standard procedures at the moment and is under review" (request was sent on 18/06 so after 2nd line). Would that mean that file is still under BGC since they said under review? However when I replied to them I did say that one of my employer had change head office and that I could provide new contact details if needed (for BGC). But on the reply I got on 06/07 they tell me my rep is been disassociated and that address updated but no mention about new employer they only say "We will be in touch with you again in due course. You need take no further action at this time" and the signature come from some LBM from the Immigration & medical services Division from the e-mail address of some lady Laura McLeod.....
Could anyone pls share any comments to what this may mean? Are BGC really done when 2nd line appears or maybe just starting?

Sounds like you are in the sit and wait queue.

The whole BGC thing is a can of worms. Mr E has always stated that once 2nd line has been added that the BGC are complete. I agree with this as from all the evidence we have there are only 2 things which happen next. You either get a very quick DM followed by a rejection letter or you get you MR.

In cases such as yours Yolex I think the BGC are done and you are now awaiting for you MR to be sent. You would have received your DM status and rejection letter by now if they had any problems, they seem very quick to send these out to reduce the backlog. Unfortunately the LVO has come to a grinding halt on MI3 applications and you are left waiting.

I think there is 2 parts to the BGC. There is the bit that I think it's call Eligibility which is the education & employment, etc BGC which are done before MR and after MR there is the PCC and criminality checks (which I think are still call BGC) and these are called Admissibility. But what I am not sure is if the first part of the BGC are done once one received the 2d line on E-cas....

I think it is in 3 parts.

(1)CIO BGC check you have submitted all documents and if happy give your PER and send to LVO.

(2)LVO verify documents submitted and check JD against NOC. Once happy 2nd Line added. App sent to MR queue.

(3)Mr sent and received by LVO. Security checks commence upon medicals being received.

This is completely 100% opinion

That could be also...I think that bit in CIO is called completeness check...

I hate waiting. It hasn't been so bad recently but now I now the LVO have my medicals I am back to checking ECAS every 15 minutes looking for the 3rd line.

hopefully you won't have to wait to long. Once "medicals received" line is added on e-cas then it should mean they have been reviewed & approved & only ppr would be left. I think I read somewhere that if you're citizen from one of the visa exempt countries then that process should be even quicker....

It bloody well had better be. I am stuck in a temp job while I wait for this visa to come through which means I am on 50% less pay than what I will be in Canada and it has been 3 months since I saw my girl last.

All I have is Steve Stiflers words to Nova in American Pie 2 going through my head. "Right now she is ball deep in someone else" (or something to that effect)

no it is not a shame it is a bloody disgrace, that is what it is.

I just read back what I wrote.

I meant it as in the fact you didn't get your MR was as bad as Mr P's English. Not that your English was as bad as Mr P's as that, I don't think is possible.
