I have read in a few places that with LVO once they request your passport you can go in person and then collect it yourself a couple of days later.

Is this true and can anyone send me a link with more info on this at all?

Well here is the triple whammy, my boss is also my girlfriends father. So he is on my @$$ and my girlfriends almost every single day. So far he refuses to believe that his lawyer has given him duff information about the immigration process so I have sent a letter to this chimp asking him to clarify his statements in writing so I can get his comments assessed by another third party lawyer. Funnily enough everything has gone quiet on that front but I am certainly keeping that ace up my sleeve.

I have come across more than one applicants, who were residents of UK and delivered at and picked their passports from LVO. In fact they said that its the fastest channel.

This forum members, BDPA and joydhaka both are MI-3 applicants and they submitted their passports in person.

i am uk based and got aor on 14th feb 2012 but till today don't have anything else. I applied 19-10-2011, got PER 11-1-2012, just got second line this week which stated

"we started processing your application on june 15 2012",
hopfully you will see yours this week also.
