LUNAS! Are you okay? I know you are in the Edmonton Area and there were tornado warnings lately!

Hi ms P!! Weather sucks but I'm doing just fine. I heard of tornado warnings but I think thy we're exaggerating!! I know what tornado weather is like and I haven't seen it yet. But better safe than sorry.

I've been curious. Any of y'all had your honeymoon yet? Tony and I are going on a mini-honeymoon on my birthday weekend in August, after almost 2 years of marriage haha.

We haven't had our honeymoon yet. We want to go to BC and visit friends but that's a given, not really a honeymoon. I think it will need to wait until the winter so we can get away for a month in January or February. Then it will be 2 years of marriage.

I wanted to add...our vehicle plate was stolen the other day!!! What a bummer! We reported it as soon as we could but it sucked big time.

We went to go visit father-in-law for ours! I was sick with the flu the whole time too.

We're still waiting for my husband to be working for 3 months before our bank would even consider giving him a credit card, so I'm of no help haha. But I would talk to your bank, they might be able to help you out. Different banks, and different locations, will have different offers.

If you are looking for a credit card for ID purposes you can look at Moneymart and get a pay-as-go credit card. Basically you put money on it when you want to use it. Not sure if this helps your credit rating or not.

Capital one is the way to go for new comers trying to establish credit. They might start you with 300 but its better than nothing! Gotta start somewhere

I recommend capital one too. True, it has an annual fee but i think its worth it. You don't need to keep it forever.

My hubby has a Captial One card and he's pretty happy with it.

My wife and I have a joint account now. I can add her to my credit cards but that won't do anything for her credit. Once she's working she can apply through RBC since that is who holds our mortgage.

go to RBC

they can open a credit card with no credit history.
