There are still people who applied in November that haven't heard from CIC and a looooot of people who applied in December have. Well, it is what it is I guess. Right now I'm not expecting to hear from them for months, but it's good to know they have our file. Let's see how I feel about this in May! If those who applied after us will all land before me I might disappear again hahaha!
It's true though, this forum helps a lot. It's good to talk to others who are going through the same process

I tried for some time to rationalize time lines and such, and finally I decided it's really bad for moral and sanity! So I avoid that at all costs, and try to distract myself from the visa thoughts. I know it'll come sooner or later. So all we can do is wait (I have to add this for me is sometimes easier said than done!)

Thanks Moonie for starting it...It was real fun reading about the soon to happen 2 week long party...+ a week of preparation + a week of recovery ...agenda...what and what not! Though I'm not an applicant in the same category, it all comes down to spending life in Canada...It was so irresistible not to write any comment at all for all the fun and entertainment out here...
