This seems like as good a thread as any to share a new app I found!

It's called Pair, and allows you to send little videos, drawings, voice recordings etc to one other phone that you pair with. It's a total cheesy couple app but I imagine its perfect when you're doing long distance! I wish if had it then.

You can even send a "thumb kiss" where you both have to touch the screen in the same place :) like I said super cheesy but still a cute way to keep the connection and togetherness :)

You guys who are missing your partners should check it out if you both have smart phones :)

Here's a link about it!

Enjoy! :p

Installing now to try it out!!! Thank you!

I'm going to self publish on Amazon's Kindle store. Once I get Word installed on my new laptop and edit the book...... again. Writing is definitely a 'living' artform cause the story chances every time I write it..... sigh......................... *pulls out hair*

I actually don't care about the money or fame. I just want other people to have a chance to read my book and get something out of it.

I understand. I wrote fiction for many years and could never settle with one version of my own story. Of course, I then went into a failed journalism career and lost all hope (and skills). Now I write emails for a living. >:( Keep at it. Seriously, don't let your mind get at you! You have it in you! Even if it means self-publishing, keep going!

It crashed, if you wanna call it that. And any rumours you may be hearing over the next few hours/days as to my involvement should be taken with a huge grain of salt.

I was sleeping at the time. I saw nothing, heard nothing, and know nothing.

Prove it!

AYEEEEEEEAAAH

I mean. Quite fascinating.

Another app to try you guys!!
Voxer
It works like a walkie talkie. It makes communication fun when you want to switch from text messages to voice :-) just don't leave the Speakerphone on and the the app open or everybody around will hear the message haha

Hmmm....good point. Why didn't he do it while sincerely groveling over a phone call, or better, by skyping?

True.

My DH Skyped me tonight. I'm so bad at this stuff. My brother set me up on Skype in August (when he came for our wedding), and I tried using it once since and couldn't get the audio to work. Tonight I found out there's some kind of connection problem with my laptop lid somehow...when I move the lid/screen it crackles and audio goes in and out, but we did get it to work. At least now I know what the problem is, and it was SO COOOOOL seeing my dearest. :)yay!!!

Text message apologies don't have an effect unless there's a phone call almost immediately afterwards. He better learn how to grovel if he thinks that's acceptable! :o

Soooo True.
