Good Morning Ladies, gents and Tuyen (Where is he by the way?)!!!!

I swear if I find out he got banned for the other thread, I'm going to have a word with the mods as that would be totally unfair. Some people do not like to hear the truth and need a good kick in their beehuts!!

Well, I see we are going to drink our blues/day away today. I can see the bottles are lined up.

K party was the bomb!!! Held at this really cool lofty warehouse restaurant west of Toronto. Projectors played Charlie Brown Christmas on the massive walls. DJ was the shizzit!!

Food was good, drinks were great and the atmostphere even better. Felt like I was somewhere in NYC. Actually speaking of NYC, it's always been my dream to count down and kiss as the ball drops on NYE right in Time Square. Wearing big ear muffs, hat, scarf, mitts with hot chocolate in hand with the love of my life holding me on that one day. I know, I'm corny!!

Sooooo anyways..........several of my male coworkers (let me mention they are all bucking in their tender ages of 20's) decided to make a hot potato out of me last night. I was lifted and tossed in the air like it was nobody's business!! Several of our executive management team including the CEO flew in from Chicago. Before CEO leaves, he says to me "Halfmoon, when you tied your hair up, wow, I think you are the sexiest woman in here and if I'm thinking that, then everyone in here is saying the same" :-\

I was like "awkward!!!!!" :-X :-X

Why is there always one person in the office we all work with who behaves like they are ready to get it on with every dude at a party?? (scratches my head). It never fails as every company I've ever worked at, there's always that one (Ok get that out of your head...I'm not referring to myself). But seriously though.....I'm always holding back to wanting to say something.

Anyhow, it was an AMAZING party, feet are tired, and wish it was 5 o'clock already.

Strange, but I missed you all last night....

Wow sounds like you are ready for Friday! I'm glad you had fun! I'm curious about your hair now, my hair is short now, I can't do much to it.

I've been to Argentina a few times and I'm still impressed how I manage to bring in more than allowed amount of wine and all the bottles were intact!! yummmmm

I don't even know what the max is. I usually take like 3 bottles with me-- all for gifting people, of course.

sooo what did he make for breakfast? Mine likes to add Hollandaise sauce to my scramble eggs, it's yummy but I had to point the calories and fat contect had to be subtle

In reality, he's not much of a cook (he's admitted that!) but neither am I!! Though I'm a darn good baker

Your welcome. Nerve of some ppl. I didn't see that as any form of accident or misunderstanding as the poster attempted to explain. If someone is being arrogant, why not say they are being arrogant or big headed rather than allude a medical condition? Because, that's what they intended to say in the first place!!

I promise. No waves today. I talked to my fiance and he was quite pleased with me for standing up for myself ( one of the first times in my whole life. As stated above, I just didn't like the illusions posted. : Saying arrogant or bigheaded was the appropriate thing to say. Which was the point I was trying to make. I'm sorry if it seemed I was getting on a soapbox. But I have dealt with with insults and ridicule my whole life.
That said, I really enjoy threads such as this one. and I feel acepted here. It's almost as if I'm with you guys. I get to laugh just reading the posts. I'm learning a lot already. Though I have not filed yet, I know what to expect and how to deal with things. I'm already counting the days until I hear "welcome to Canada" and i can stay with my love forever. Hugs to everyone here. Thank you so much. I will see him tonight after returning to the states for some personal stuff. I have told him about this forum and you guys and gals and he thanks you too.

I woke up to so many e-mails bashing me to the ground (well really, facebook messages haha.. from complete strangers) I said to my husband "Joys of people finding out what I do for a living and need to tell me their opinion of the unions" *shakes head*

And now I'm waiting to see what hubby will be making me for breakfast!! WHOO HOO!! 8)

I'm going to take a wild stab and guess that your job has something to do with the ETFO/OSSTF? :-X

Yes, yes it is. And you folks are an amazing part of me growing during this phase of my life. If I can handle this, especially with the grace you all have, I can handle anything. My fiance has noticed the change in me. So thanks again ever so.
