We had a semi small wedding, 10 people total, and it was wonderful.

I have a problem with flash photography... the photographer was really frustrated with me. She could not get a picture with my eyes open...well she did end up getting a couple when we took a few outdoor shots without the flash. We were going to elope, but his sisters caught wind of that and said NOTHING DOING! Then DH said he liked the idea of having a few of his favorite people to join us. We did it on a budget but it was wonderful.

Our wedding was a simple civil ceremony, though I wore a wedding dress and we had a photographer too. The thing is, we only invited DH's family and friends, which adds up to a hundred people!! :o That's why we decided to make it a bit fancier, but it was only possible because everyone helped us make it work. It was a wonderful day :)

Still, what blew me away was his proposal. It was in Las Vegas, on a balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains, with the "Eiffel" Tower in the background..... <3 <3

We also plan on having a bigger ceremony in about 5 years, where we'll renew our vows; we want to invite everyone this time, and hopefully have our own children participate (if they exist by then, of course, lol).

Make sure you Skype us in!!!!

:o :o The flash must have looked like this!!

Does everyone in long distance have silly arguments or do I over think about stuff? Food for MY thoughts but I'd like some comments.

Like you i have had my share of silly arguments with my husband. Some seem outright ridiculous after the fact. Its normal in my world.. and then again im the kind who overthinks everything.

Aren't they silly????????????? Don't get me started on this. HAHA!!!

I must say I am a little relieved. The husband and I have a 10 hour time zone difference, it makes it so challenging to keep up with each other's schedule. I always end up feeling so stupid after and poor him always deals with the sh*t I give him over the smallest things but I can't help it ugh!

When we have our formal ceremony (IF we have it) I'm totally putting in on Skype!

We got married at my friend's house with 11 guests (3 were children). My massage therapist also did the pictures, which are awesome. Her daughter held our rings - played ringer bearer, flower girl, and madien of honor all wrapped into one and she's only 7! What a resume!

I actually wore a white dress (this time). Bought it on clearance at Sear's... it's a cocktail dress so I couldn't sit down at my own wedding :P It was really pretty and simple, though, and almost everyone liked it. Plus I can wear it again since it's a regular dress... heh heh.

It's so neat to hear everyone's wedding stories - very enjoyable. :)

Oh my, the silly things we got into words about. A lot of it was stress from being apart. It's a lot more stressful mentally than you realize at first... When you're lacking that physical connection and the emotional connection that goes with touch, snuggles, even just sitting side-by-side, it weighs on you. I respect people that have long distance relationships for years or on a regular basis (military, truckers) so much. It takes a lot of strength to do that.

I agree. I have a nine hour time difference and it can be overly frustrating somedays. I cant count the number of days where i start at 2am just to talk to my hubby before work. I just keep remindong myself i love him amd that someday soon it will all be over!! The next arguement will be for me to clean the room to meet his cleanliness standards!

lol true. It just worries me sometimes strictly because our VO time is 26 months. Its only been 7 months since I got married but I never realized living apart would be SO hard! Its so silly sometimes ugh pisses me off :(.

WE all can't help it. It's our sweet nature!! LOL ;D

It's pretty normal to bicker and funny as it sounds, though you're not physically together, you still need to give a bit of space from time to time. I'm lucky mine loves to talk so it's kept us going really good.
