Well I guess it is just using any needles... I mostly crochet at this point because if my kids pull out my hook I can recover quickly where as knitting I feel like I'm better off just ripping it all out because I hate trying to get dropped stitches back on!

So your one of those crocheters with all the expereince... so it really better than knitting??? We had some pretty amourous knitters here last night!

And if you live in Calgary, you want to teach me. I learned to crotchet once...... badly......... epic bad........... Need a hobby and don't have space for sewing nor do I feel like remembering how to sew!

The hooks are also awesome if you wish to fish hook someone for their insolence.

My grandmother taught me how to knit and crochet when I was 3 (not much else to do all winter long on a lighthouse station!!) so I have pretty much always have a few projects going. I like both for different reasons but at this point with three kids under the age of 5 I tend to crochet more. I can put it down and pick it back up easier and I can take my hook with me incase of my kids insolence...lol
I have about 6 hats I have to get done before Christmas (two I need to finish today and I haven't even started one of them:-X) but I made the dress for my daughter's baby blessing(christening) and that was a feat to say the least with a newborn!! I would love to teach but Seattle to Calgary is a bit of a commute...

I was pondering going to sleep...but then I figured...well...it's almost lunch time...so I'll stay awake a bit longer. And then my baby was in need of some help, so I got creative for her, and that pretty much knocked any desire for sleep outta me.

lol... and don't forget that I'm trying to get everything organized for our move to Ontario at the end of March...that we are doing with just our two door echo, three kids, two adults and what we can fit on the roof and in the trunk.. not scary at all...lol

That sounds like fun. I also wanted to be the jerk with solar panels so I still had power when the lines were down. And a live roof I can garden on. And a goat for a lawn mower.

lol.. yeah my husband wants to name our goat Mr. Chewy-bite-ums and one of our sheep Fleece-wood-mac when we get animals...lol
we are hopping to build and "earthship" that is made out of earth filled tires, pop cans, and glass bottles so it a lot less if you do it yourself!

So, ladies, I need some advice. As you may know from the constant whining, I'm in desparate need of a job - but I am not desparate myself. I had a potential employer contact me three days ago and wanted to do an interview after our initial email. I replied with my availability. Heard nothing back. Okay, stuff happens. I emailed back the next day offering my availability again. Heard nothing.

I don't like being jerked around. Two days of non-communication is very unprofessional and screams red flag.

I get an email this morning from this woman asking for an interview at a time clearly outside of my availability (husband and I have plans, didn't tell her that cuz it's not her business). So on top of ignoring me for two days, now she also requests a time I already said I am NOT free.

Based on this, I have decided to decline. What would be a polite response?

I like the sheep's name. I'd name my goat "Tin Can."
