yoru case is kind of similar to mine. even we got married in LA
starting from your first question.
your ecas "sponsorship application status" says decision made which means you are approved for stage 1. your sponsor(your husband) is approved for sponsoring you. he should have got it by now i guess
okay. about the "permanent residence status" says application received. which means now are on stage 2 which includes mainly you. i mean they will check your background/security, your relationship (how genuine it is), your medicals

you asked are you accepted or not. well your application is accepted and is in process. you have to wait until they ask for something from you or make a decision.
about the interview.. rarely US citizens gets interviewed. but we have some examples here so you never know. I got interview (though I am not a US citizen but from a visa exempt country). but just be prepared IF INCASE.
about 16months... its the average they give for 80%cases. but if your case is straightforward then it might be less than that. (you can see the spreadsheet to have a look onto the average timings)

you can go to Canada to live with your husband . the entry is just for 6months but you can always extend it. (but you cannot work or go to school)

AND . this all is normal .. we all are waiting .. some since 2011.. some 2012 (like me)

congrats on your status i read that you guys sent int he passport, so just waiting for visa now? or PR card? wow that is so long i really wasnt expecting it. My sister in law is from sweden and she got her PR card in about 8 months. I didn't think being from US made it LONGER
where can i i view the spreadsheets?
so my application is being reviewed? some people stated that their app says "in process" , mine just says "received" ......or is "in process" only written in the stage 1 part? im sorry if my questions sound dumb....

dont rely on ecas so much.

No , no news from myside.. I am starting with 4th waiting week for medical extension. According to VO (as per she told me) only medical extension was left in my file. so i guess if i get extension then I should get PPR. so lets see how many days or weeks more I have to wait.

i only did my medical one time that's when I submit the application and they never asked me for anything ( they never contact me at all) only time Ottawa contact me just to tell that my landing paper and visa will be issued by the Los Angeles office. and
( Your sponsor is required to first pay the landing fee, then the visa office will request your passport.) and after a couple of emails i sent, ottawa emailed back saying they have the payment is complete and please ignore the request ( my husband paid the landing fee on November 2012). so now im waiting for the ppr and my husband contact mp he just said to wait for the request . so i really hope that we will get something soon .

just wait for a while and see

When we contacted our MP , he said VO should contact us within a month or two and if nothing comes up then come back again later. but thankfully after few weeks we got interview letter (something is better than nothing...)
so wait .. may be they will send your PPR (or something) when they see that your MP has showed his interest in your file.

May be a week, may be a month. It depends on the officer who is working on your file.

I really don't know when did LA got application However I got a email on March 21,2013 saying my landing papers and visa will be issued by LA visa Office,

paid the landing fee on November 10,2012

resend the receipt on March 22nd 2013

It's ok lol and my husband contact the calling center according to them the application was sent to Los Angeles after he got approved ( 09-25-2012) but they didn't give a date .

I've been reading this forum for a while now. I've begun my application in December 2012, and now I'm a bit confused. Maybe you guys can help me out. My boyfriend and I are common law, we've been living together since December 2009 when he was here in Las Vegas. Now he's back to Montreal, and I'm in Vegas waiting for my PR...

CIC received my application: December 05, 2012
start processing on December 14, 2012
CIC sent my file back cause I missed one of the forms. Sent them the completed package on January 30, 2013.
Received an approval letter on Feb. 07, 2013
Submitted my CSQ application on March 18, 2013
Received my approval for CSQ on April 17, 2013.

On my ecas status, it just said decision made on Feb. 07, 2013. Application Received and medical results received. I'm wondering whats the next step, when will they request anything from me? I'm a permanent residence card holder from the US and I'm originally from Taiwan which is a visa exempt countries. Maybe someone can tell me whats the next step? Or it's just a waiting game? Thanks in advance and this forum definitely help me a lot. Thanks everyone
