I just got an email from Los Angeles for PPR. I can't believe it happened so fast. But I also want to thank everyone here for their valuble thoughts and support. I wish good luck to everyone!

I would suggest if you can ask your local MP's office to contact concerned VO and give you with the latest status. Our MP's office was really quick and I got latest status within 2 days.

Thanks for your quick response manispreet! How come it is preferable to contact the MP's office to check for you? How does this compare if you attempted to check for yourself? Just time-wise? I feel worried about contacting the office unnecessarily, I don't know what really warrants inquiry. And I'm petrified at the notion that they'll retaliate by shuffling your file to the bottom of the pile.

I just contacted my local MP. I hope I hear some good news about my medicals. Anyone suggest anything else I could do to find out what is going on with my medicals? LA told me they haven't gotten them yet from Ottawa. Thank you

My USPS Express shipping label was activated this afternoon. That puts it in the company's US office tomorrow, so I'll have the passport on Friday. There's a trip to the border in my future...
