finally some progress from cic for marchersparker24 said:Wellll! Medicals have been rec'd now! Hopefully that means they can approve hubby and have him landed by Nov (as that's when his medicals AND visitor's visa expires). Come on CIC!
This was my hubby's timeline:Rose2D2 said:Just got an email asking for a police certificate. I have 60 days to send it in. I sent some fingerprints to the FBI on September 24th. Does anyone know the recent turnaround for fingerprints?
On the plus side, they said they don't need an interview!
That 60 days isn't a hard deadline, but it seems to be taking ~6 weeks in most cases right now.Rose2D2 said:Just got an email asking for a police certificate. I have 60 days to send it in. hi parker24 - does that mean that your medicals which you submitted in Nov 2011 just now are showing up on the system? I'm checking eCas everyday but still nothing on my hubby's medical results...they asked us to redo the medicals but the system never registered the original medicals we submitted back in Feb...parker24 said:Wellll! It means that they requested the medicals from Ottawa and rec'd them today. Pretty sure they requested them the day they started processing my file, August 10th. But yes, it's just now showing up. I'm hoping we don't have to re-do it, I'm not made of money like our government seems to think we are!! : Ours was 200 dollars *sigh* (the medical)h82w8 said:hi parker24 - does that mean that your medicals which you submitted in Nov 2011 just now are showing up on the system? It isn't? I figured that at 50 days, I'd just have my husband call and tell them we need an extension. When I sent them to the FBI on the 24th, I put my husband's house in Canada down as the address to mail it to, so I figure that will add an extra 2 weeks, and put us right at the 60 day deadline.computergeek said:That 60 days isn't a hard deadline, but it seems to be taking ~6 weeks in most cases right now.

Do they want the state police certificate or the FBI certificate? Also to comment on medicals received...my husband did his in december 2011 and we sent it in to with our complete file..medicals received has been showing on ECAS since the sponsorship approval.Rose2D2 said:It isn't?
