Hello,

I'm looking for a Civil Lawyer to sue the IRCC for negligence in regards to my PR application and constant lying about the estimated time line for a decision on the phone (I have recorded my phone calls with them). I'm not interested in an immigration lawyer to sue for a mandamus, as that is already in progress and it's not going anywhere due to the federal court being drowned in immigration litigations, and it's taking 6+ months just for the judge to review the case, I'm looking for a Civil Lawyer to sue for damages.

If you know anyone who's willing to listen to my case in more details, then kindly refer them.
You are very unlikely going to get damages. A guaranteed processing time is never stated. As already said you could sue to try and ensure faster processing going forward which will likely not benefit you personally by that point.

Good luck . Hope you have deep pockets

And as someone else mentioned in regarding to voting . The way immigration is handled or mishandled in this country will be THE key issue I’ll be voting on .

But it’ll be in regards how the mishandling of immigration has affected this country as a whole . Not one person, and for sure not just because it involves Quebec

Kinda rich when the person posting cannot even vote

Oh the entitlement. Of course the poster mentioned in his posting history the mandatory “ I’ve paid xxxx amount in taxes” , so that alone involves the red carpet treatment

I just chock this posting in the same category along with the people protesting in PEI, MB , & BC

Lets see what you would do if they kept telling you to wait for only a "couple of months" for 13 months, and then at the end when you reached 28 months of processing, they tell you to keep waiting for double the estimated time they provided you at the beginning.

If you don't have any useful information, shut it up. No one is forcing you to comment "Foodie69"

…..and no one of course is forcing you to post your inane problem

Quebec manages its own immigration requirements.

Stop spreading misinformation, the following can be seen in bullet 7 in Canada immigration plan, ofc they took it out in the estimated processing time:

‘Under the Canada-Quebec Accord, Quebec has full responsibility for the selection of immigrants destined to Quebec, with the exception of the family class and protected persons. Quebec also tables its immigration plan at the National Assembly of Quebec on or before November 1 each year (or within 15 days of the resumption of work following an election). Estimated admissions targets for Quebec’s economic programs used to calculate overall economic targets in the federal plan are 37,990 in 2024; 34,500 in 2025; and 35,500 in 2026.’

Whoever tells you it’s because of the Accord, they are lying to you. There is nothing in the Accord that mentions protected persons and family reunifications. In which the latter Mac Miller already ignored Quebec limit quota.

Regarding your other retarded comment, they have obligation and duty to do, lying about the timeline isn’t a behaviour of government entities and public servants. That’s probably something your stupid brain cannot comprehend.

Don’t worry about my pockets, and keep sniffing in my history. If you have no useful information to say, then take your advice and stop commenting. No one is forcing you to comment

And no one is forcing you to apply for PR either. If Canadian government is that bad in your point of view, why insist on staying here? Doesn't make any sense at all... Just saying. And, fyi, you cannot force anybody to stop commenting in a public forum.

Why are you putting words in my mouth? Where did I say the Canada or the government of Canada is bad?

The IRCC is incompetent, and they have been lying to me for more than a year. Am I dealing with government workers or sales men?

if you believe that government entities/departments shouldn’t be hold accountable and be immune to law, then idk what to tell you

The Canadian government is accountable for IRCC, the later being an agency under its mantle. If IRCC f***$ up, it also reflects on the government.

Again, nobody is forcing you to stay. Surely, there must be other countries that are infallible out there.

One entity is incompetent doesn’t mean everything else is as well. And yes I am indeed forced to stay until a decision is made and my passport is given back to me.

If all assessments are made (which they are), then there is literally no reason to prevent them from accepting or rejecting the application. I’m asking for a decision to be made in the timeline they have provided me, in which I surpassed twice. I’m not asking for an acceptance of the application.

I gather that you are some sort of refugee or asylum seeker that is now making so much money that s/he pays $50'000 a year in taxes. If I were you I'd say "thank you Canada for giving me a job and/or opportunity that pays that well I would not have had in my country of origin".
And by the way, I did not come to Canada as a refugee or asylum seeker, just so we are clear...

"This is recent, they only made this change 2 weeks ago. If they have a blockage caused by Quebec they should have just told me, instead they said nothing of Quebec even when I asked about it, and said just wait for 2 more months. They have been driving me insane with their lies and low-effort generic template copy-paste responses."

Yeah, I'm sure immigration has nothing better to do with their time than phone every applicant with a personalized update....that'll improve processing time, I'm sure.

ir is it just your application that needs special attention?
why cant you guys be supportive of others instead of hating and passing weird comments? bet you would sell your soul to have your application processed sooner
