Dear All,
My passport will expire in Nov 2013 and CIC requirement is 1 year validity of PP before issuance of visa.

I am concern that should i renew my passport now because the way they are issuing PPR now a days I doubt to see Maple leave on my Passport beforenov 2012.

Please suggest

There is not a good news for those whose VO is LBM. she is out of office till 13th August. It looks like no good news till that date.

No it is not a requirement to have 1 year validity.
Your visa will be valid upto april 2013 as of your medical validity, this passport is fine for you.

Has anybody received their passports stamped after ECAS status changed to Decision made. i had send my passports on 28th june, received 29th june. My ECAS staus changed to decision made on 30th July. when should I expect my passports.

Today I got my Ecas status changed to "Decision Made"
It is now 4th week since my passport with LVO. Waiting to reurn it back with maple leaf.

Seniors, pls advise.

My medical was done on 25th April, 2012. There was another query for the additional test - that too was submitted to LVO on 15th June, 2012. My queries are:

1. Any member having the same experience.
2. How do I know that the medical has been received by LVO.
3. Any idea about the time frame for the visa call.
4. What is the email address of LVO in case I would like to do CSI.
5. My mother has got the sponsorship visa and her visa is expiring in Nov, 2012. Can I raise a CSI inquiring if my case can processed before Nov, 2012. Is it wise able.

Passport sent to LVO : 6th July 2012
Passport received at LVO : 9th July, 2012
Visa issue date : 26 July 2012
Ecas changed to decision made : 31 July 2012 ( Note: I didn't get "Medical Received" or " Canadian Address" status)
Passport sent from AbuDhabi CHC : 06 Aug, 2012
Passport received on hand : 9 Aug, 2012 ( after received the passport I checked Aramex tracking no and found 7th Aug itself parcel reached here. but I got the call from Aramex 9th Aug late evening, Immediately I went to their office and received it)
