Hi Guys

Thanks for all the help to date.

Just have a quick question about new born.

I recently received MR, PPR1 and updated information chart that needs to be submitted by 27 December.

We had a baby girl a month ago so will it suffice to send her information in the updated information chart or should I send a separate notification? If so can you please tell if this is through an email/post? Also does this mean that they will send medical/passport request for her at a later stage?

Dear Brother,

First of all congrats on New Born Baby girl and for MR and PPR. NO, its not at all suffice to send info in the updated chart. You have to update VO regarding any change/ addition in family/ adoption or death.

For addition in family you have to submit a Birth Certificate of baby, his/ her passport copy/ Processing fee of 150 CAD and updated forms. I am copying the email I got from VO when my baby was born. Hope it helps you.

''Regarding your expected child, you should forward the following documents to this office within 60 days of the birth:

-updated IMM8 and IMM5406 forms for you and your spouse including details of the new child

-documents for the child: copy of the birth certificate showing the names of both parents, photographs, processing fee of CAD 150 (a bank draft payable to The Receiver General for Canada is required), copy of the passport bio page (this can be sent once it is available)''

Hi All.

I am June 2nd applicant and cc charged on 18th September and received PER on 24th September.
My visa office is London and I am still waiting for further update from LVO.
No change in ECAS status ( only 1 line ) and no AOR from LVO.
I am now waiting for MR. It's been 72 days and no updates after PER.

when will we receive MR ?????

is it based on ECAS status or when we get AOR from local visa office?
because many time local visa do not sent AOR now so is it based on ECAS status, right?

GCMS is only the source to know about the exact file transfer date to visa office
NVDO send AOR to all applicants ( but about london visa office we can get idea about file transfer from GCMS notes only . you can apply for GCMS notes )
NO ECAS never tell us about file transfer date. sometimes its timely update , but sometimes it remains in process and you issued with VISA

I will send them an email tomorrow @ CPCM-EXCOM@CIC.GC.UK. Is this a correct email address as this is the email address I could find on CIC website.

Just wanted to ask that is there a time frame to update them about new born? My baby girl is now 37 days so wonder if I have missed any deadline as there is no deadline mentioned on their website.

We started processing your application on July 1, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


Why did they made their decision very fast? Is that a bad sign... My heart stopped beating...PLEASE help me I am crying now as I am afraid.

I will suggest you to calm down. If there were any adversity they had found in your medicals/other, they would have contacted you asking for more clarifications. So all in all it seems to be a positive decision. Cheer up and hope for the best!

Seniors please advice!

My wife is pregnant and expecting in mar-2015. I have received PER in November-2014. Should I submit CSE to London Visa Office regarding my situation now, and if yes what should I ask?

Or

Should I wait for LVO to ask for additional documents including MR?
