right now they are working on FSW 13 applications to pass their eligibility and proceed towards MR/security....

that was Saleem's case......

in my case officer spent only 10 minutes on interview.... and after that he said to me that with in 6 weeks you should have MR..... but dont panic if you will not listen with in this time period.....

its almost 12 weeks now..... :

I am not catching-up but there was one applicant from old stream with AEO who appeared for interview in February at Canadian Embassy Abu Dhabi. He had old job offer from employer in Canada at the time of interview for which visa officer showed some concern. If it was your case, then you may need to check with Canadian Employer to find out when has LVO contacted and what is the latest situation. if it wasn't your case, then accept my apology.

they spend 5 sec to pass criminality (through our PCC. MY VO did the same and update me in my interview).... my case can be under Security checks....

I see. I think, your visa officer is waiting for your security clearance, then he/she will send MR, RPRF. In this case, you will get PPR very soon after MR, In Sha Allah. Don't get panic, as if there was anything wrong, LVO should have contacted you. Therefore, I believe, your security clearance is on its way, once it is done, you will get good news. I wish you to get MR very soon buddy.

I am June 3rd applicant and still I am waiting MR or 2nd line appear in my ECAS. i have asked LVO regarding my application and they said it is under review by your immigration officer. It is the same reply which I got in start of March. Why it is taking so long. I am worried now

When I went for my interview, there was a girl being interviewed before me for NOC 1112 (financial and investment analysts).

Her interview lasted one hour, while my interview was next and lasted 30 minutes only.

The interviewer told her that CIC will get back to her with a final decision after 5-6 weeks.

The interviewer told me right then and there that I have a positive assessment.

Why the difference?

I looked up her profile on LinkedIn. She was not a financial / investment analyst. She was a Purchase/Supply Chain Manager by profession. She had tried to mislead CIC, and apparently they had seen through it.

So if anyone is waiting a long time to hear from CIC, there may be genuine reasons.

Agreed...........but a person whose interview goes well and on spot he was told that you are clear and very specifically told him that you will receive medical within 6 weeks.........then why LVO delaying him.......I can imagine its not easy to wait for something especially when all fellows has been received medical request .......

Many May appl. are waiting without any update from LVO. If VO wants to re-check they have to call for interview as per Op. instruction.

No clue about LVO working style.

ha, lol! Nicely summarized.

Anyway, I would recommend everyone to attend orientation, where ever that's going to happen. It'll definitely boost your moral. It was good experience and attending it physically is a plus.
