just to share something...
when it comes to oil and gas....fort mc murray in alberta is a good place to have packages like CAD$140,000/- and above. but work hours r really tough, weather too bad (-40 to -50), social life is zero,polluted environment n recently a bear attacked a female worker and she died on the site.... ???

my brother used to live there but he couldnt survive there for more than a year..

Well, I also have doubt about salary level being doubled. 1.25 times can be digested based on my experience and information recieved from my friends but 2 times is kind of unbelieveable. Anyways, MH_UK is employed in Australia so he should have done some analysis already.

What I am thinking is that he might be referring to oil & gas and mining sector specifically. Salaries in these sector are quite high for employees based in remote/offshore locations. But it is almost similar case in middle east and other parts of the world.

hahahahaha.....let me tell you one more rquirement of the hibernation rule.....you must have to be busy from your head to toe to get full benefit of this rule......

I was hell of busy for 3 to 4 weeks earlier, therefore couldn't able to post any thing. Luckily these days, I have some time to come and post something. Let's see when I will get again busy to start another hibernaiton period ;D ;D ;D

did u go through the cdr process for engineers australia...it was irritating n hectic...the outcome is valid only for 2 years...

Hi any body receive immigration summary form from LVO,and what does it mean that Have you ever held a position in any government or state enterprise? (e.g. Mayor, M.P, Counsellor,
Judge, Managing Director, etc) When and where.

My current company is owned by state but in the process of privatization what should i mention against this question.

well at the moment, i may not advise aus immigration to anyone here...its expensive u see...currently we have spent more than AED 25K on it for 189 visa (2 adults+1 kid) and medicals/pcc pending...plus pakistani applicants r getting stuck into 2 years security check...so not a good option if one has already opted for canada immigration...

We need to wait with passion and patience........I's looking at FSW LVO 2011 / 2012 spread sheet. LVO usually sends PPR after 5 to 7 months of MR. As we're approaching mid May, approx 4.5 months have already passed now it is the matter of few days to month (s) (but Insha Allah not more than 2 months from now) that we'd be getting PPR (PPR 1 for cases of Pakistan).
I'm sure, Insha Allah all of us would start getting PPR in Jun / Jul.
