List any government positions (such as civil servant, judge, police officer, employee in a security organization) you have held. Country and Level of Jurisdication (e.g. national, regional, municipal)

Is this question specific to the jobs related to security agencies / civil services etc only or is it for ALL Type of government offices?

One of my friend worked in a government hospital for 6 months only. In his job duties (Schedule 3 - Q12 - Work Experience) he mentioned all the details of this job. But he did not fill the section in Schedule A - Question 10 and mentioned "NONE". He is now worried if it can impact or not? What do guys suggest?

We need to wait with passion and patience........I's looking at FSW LVO 2011 / 2012 spread sheet. LVO usually sends PPR after 5 to 7 months of MR. As we're approaching mid May, approx 4.5 months have already passed now it is the matter of few days to month (s) (but Insha Allah not more than 2 months from now) that we'd be getting PPR (PPR 1 for cases of Pakistan).
I'm sure, Insha Allah all of us would start getting PPR in Jun / Jul.

I got MR on Jan 10, 2014 and right after that I raised a CSE on Jan 23rd - that was replied by LVO saying "background checks are still on going on your file and still may take some months", which means, in Jan B/G security checking was on going which actually was started somewhere earlier than MR. Then in mid Apr, when I raised CSE, that time they replied that file is awaiting review by VO.....so I am in opinion that by that time BG SC has been completed. Even that time they didn't give a tentative time frame...now it is only this time that they have given a tentative time-line.....(next couple months - means Jun / Jul), with this overall scenario, I believe that BG SC has been completed and now it is the stage of PPR (PPR 1)....

The only confusing poinst is that if they have completed the S/C checks back in March then what is the logic behind holding the PPR for 4-5 months uselessly. They should send the PPR within 2-3 weeks or max 4 weeks after security checks are completed and final review is done.... :-\ :-\

Yes you are right, nothing works at LVO, unless you are lucky enough to get your name in "lucky draw" at LVO

JBZZS is very right, there is no point for unnecessary delays when S/C checks are already completed......but then how they will torture us :-\

Secondly, still not all May 2013 applicant's processing has started so far, and they started fsw 2014 program :-\

This seems to be the trend of LVO.
I's looking at FSW LVO 2011 / 2012 spreadsheet. For Pakistani applicants, the average time of PPR 1 (after MR) was 4.5 to 5 months (4.75 to be very specific), with normal distribution (in terms of time line) ranging from 3 months (only 2 cases) to 6 months (majority falls in 6 months category).
Coming to the other part of your question, why does LVO do that....I personally feel that LVO has categorized all the applications on the basis of nationality......fro example for EU nationals, PPR time frame may be set early (like 2 - 3 months after MR, as we have observed in current cases where Ibasco and trashford got PPR pretty earlier), for Asians that time might have been set bit longer (4 to 6 months).......

thanks for calling me back 8) im sure its lucky draw and my luck has never favoured me anywhere when it comes to lucky draw
yeha 4 months..i never expected this when i got MR..only idea now is tht after september it will be tougher to land coz of the weather...anyhow lvo has never given us choice...

right now they are working on FSW 13 applications to pass their eligibility and proceed towards MR/security....


by the end of this month or start of next you will have PPR... inshAllah.....

I am not catching-up but there was one applicant from old stream with AEO who appeared for interview in February at Canadian Embassy Abu Dhabi. He had old job offer from employer in Canada at the time of interview for which visa officer showed some concern. If it was your case, then you may need to check with Canadian Employer to find out when has LVO contacted and what is the latest situation. if it wasn't your case, then accept my apology.
