Lets see if my VO gets 6 on the dice tomorrow, my file will move forward. I think he is basically a chess player and he is playing ludo as chess ;).

If VO don't get a 6 to move on, the last option of the day at LVO is "lucky draw", where at the end of the day, all VOs take a chit from the box, if your file no is written on it, then you are the luck one, your file will be processed . If not, then wait for next day ! LVO's style is finally decoded :P :P ;)

I've seen few people getting MR together with PCC and request for updated background and additional family information forms together..its been 2 yrs complete since I filed the application,just a month back I received request for updated background and additional family info forms just like few others without MR or PCC...I wonder what stage my application is...have they just started BG checks!?
 
FSW 2014 is going to start tomorrow...........!

I hope & pray they don't throw our applications in backlog queue ! We applied in 2013 & were promised to be processed our applications in 1 year time frame, it didn't happen, but at least we don't deserve to be treated in the way LVO has treated us & made us suffer by testing our patience & disappointing us with their irregular processing protocol. May is going to start and seldom May 2013 applicant has got his application finalized nor been issued a visa.

I am July 2013 applicant, & not sure where do I stand :(
 
I want to inform you all that by end of MAY 2014, Canadian Embassy will stop their attestation/notarizing service in all countries across the world.

This is not a rumor , but authentic information, informed to me by visa counselor officer in Canadian embassy UAE.

So anyone want to get his attestation for immigration process or for MCC, get attestation quickly before end of May 2014.

Are they the only ones who can do attestation? Is there no other alternative? What are they attesting?

RPRF paid today by Demand Draft made from my bank account..., only main branches issue Demand Draft.. i have made it from NBD Emirates, immigration road, sharjah. it cost me 3,357 + 30 = 3387 AED

Also, just to let everyone know that we have been having a tube strike in London this week (Tue, Wed) and next week there is Bank Holiday (Monday), Tube strike (Tue, Wed and Thu). Therefore, I think there may be reduced activity from LVO (but I hope not). Anyway, good luck to all of us...

They (LVO) should use London buses, Boris bike and overground. Congrats!

2) when did the medical centre sent it to CIC (did you have yours in London the medical?)
3) and how long did it take to show on your profile that third line is added ?

Through CSE..
I did the same, they 1st replied that the address will be changed without any acknowledgement, after 3-4 days i received an email for acknowledgement that the address has been updated and later after a week i got another email asking the date of the address change. As my residence country was changed so I sent them the passport scanned copy with visa and entry/exit stamps.
