I got attestation of my degree, passport copy (photocopies) and internship certificates for credential assessment to submit it to MCC (Medical council Canada).

Outside Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, & America, they don't accept notary public attestation, their requirement is to get attestation from either of mentioned embassies. So I visit Canadian embassy, got the attestation done, & there I was told that by end of May 2014, they are going to end notarization/attestation service in all Canadian embassies across the world & would no longer attest any sort of documents. I asked about any alternative to this, after they end their service, she had no clue about it !

I see, i weren't sure what you meant. I have always used notary public, but I am based in the UK.

Dear Mates

Alhamdulillah, with the blessing of Almighty Allah, I have received email from LVO about 1 hour ago requesting the following:

1. MR for whole family
2. RPRF for me & spouse - CAD 980/-

I have also received medical forms for whole family.

Good luck for everyone.
Stay Blessed

@ COG11

I went to the vfs london office today and they told me that they gonna charge £16.30 per passport( i got 2 - me and my wife ) and it gonna take to 14 days to get back my passport. I have not sent my passport yet and inshallah gonna send it next week by vfs. By vfs the process very simple : Just need to fill the updated chart form, print out the ppr email, 2 photos , and passport. The fees can be paid by credit card, debit card and demand draft. We dont need to take any appointment for passport submission at vfs. (Office hours for submission : MON-FRI : 08:30 - 16:00)

Guys,

Just to let you know snooky007 has posted the below message in the main forum:

Can someone please update my timeline, got MR from LVO on 24 April, I'm highly favoured! How long do it take before they request for Passport and PR fees? All the best to everyone.

In fact, I wouldn't mind receiving my PR visa with just a single line in ecas. So, relax.

So I viewed my LinkedIn profile after a month or so, and I have an anonymous visit from someone around 2 weeks ago (11 - 15 April). My Last Due Date was April 11 according to GCMS.

hmmm, so anonymous is definitely something fishy (3rd party agencies for verifications).

Is there any one in the forum reported regarding 3rd party verifications from LVO? Any Phone calls, email, fax or personal visits etc ?

But then jigzyy, I personally don't think that anonymous visit to your LinkedIn profile is for any sort of verification. Afterall, you have already done your interview since February and medical. Before vo determines that interview is necessary for any applicant, they would have done their verification. So, don't take it serious. It could be anybody but definitely not from cic 3rd party agencies.
