thank u for help. i m moving within same country, hopefully they wont ask me for updated forms.sherry34 said:Through CSE..
I did the same, they 1st replied that the address will be changed without any acknowledgement, after 3-4 days i received an email for acknowledgement that the address has been updated and later after a week i got another email asking the date of the address change. As my residence country was changed so I sent them the passport scanned copy with visa and entry/exit stamps.
I got attestation of my degree, passport copy (photocopies) and internship certificates for credential assessment to submit it to MCC (Medical council Canada).barcomi said:What do you mean by attestation? Certified translation?

Also, just to let everyone know that we have been having a tube strike in London this week (Tue, Wed) and next week there is Bank Holiday (Monday), Tube strike (Tue, Wed and Thu). Therefore, I think there may be reduced activity from LVO (but I hope not). Anyway, good luck to all of us...
I don't agree with u sir. On cic site for document attestation, there is no such hard and fast rule. We can have our documents attested by those authorised to do so e.g by solicitors or court etc. I have gone through the Medical Council Of Canada site and there is no such thing.mabmab said:I got attestation of my degree, passport copy (photocopies) and internship certificates for credential assessment to submit it to MCC (Medical council Canada).
Outside Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, & America, they don't accept notary public attestation, their requirement is to get attestation from either of mentioned embassies. So I visit Canadian embassy, got the attestation done, & there I was told that by end of May 2014, they are going to end notarization/attestation service in all Canadian embassies across the world & would no longer attest any sort of documents. I asked about any alternative to this, after they end their service, she had no clue about it !
Thanks for +1 mish. yes, right they can offer motor cycle at the end of the luck draw, but we all need free tickets to Canada 8)mish said:I forgot to give you +1 as Well, sorry for the late +1, May be this will become lucky for you in the lucky draw of LVO
I hope they dont say "Motorcycle aap ki hui"
What kind of documents for attestation, I mean you are referring general documents / attestations / translations , IF required by any one.mabmab said:I want to inform you all that by end of MAY 2014, Canadian Embassy will stop their attestation/notarizing service in all countries across the world.
This is not a rumor , but authentic information, informed to me by visa counselor officer in Canadian embassy UAE.
So anyone want to get his attestation for immigration process or for MCC, get attestation quickly before end of May 2014.
Congrats JohnnyZee. There are always contingency planning in 1st world countries, regarding strikes, so I believe they will reach by other means. So hope for the best.JohnnyZee said:Third line added: "Medical results have been received".

Hila, I am not talking about attestation requirement by CIC, in fact CIC didn't even asked for attested documents. As mentioned, I did attestation for MCC purpose.hila01 said:I don't agree with u sir. On cic site for document attestation, there is no such hard and fast rule. My point is that there is no hard and fast rule anywhere that before u obtain a license to practice your profession from MCC, you have to only have your documents attested at any Canadian embassies ONLY. Even if that is the case, there would be alternatives now that Canadian embassies will no longer be attesting documents after May 2014.mabmab said:Hila, I am not talking about attestation requirement by CIC, in fact CIC didn't even asked for attested documents. My point is; checked your licensure bodies (engineering/medical/finance) etc. The regulatory bodies where you might require to submit documents to obtain license to practice, in future according to your field of qualification. I checked for my Medical council Canada, and they are having these requirements.
I hope this clarifies !

May be but let us keep in mind the lock-in dates of our respective paper applications, especially in May. LVO might pull surprises on or before that date.sheikh958 said:I think LVO's weekly quota for MR is finished. Waiting for the next week.
