Before we get MR, RPRF email, Am i right our 2nd Line should get updated on ECAS or without 2nd line any possibility to get an email for MR?

Any experience from MR friends?

We hope some good news to all the May, June appl within this month. Atleast let LVO consider 1year timeline from the date of PER.

You'll get 2nd line first, and than Medicals or further documents that they require.

I must apologise for not reaching out all these while. I was preparing for my interview which took place on the 26th of March.
It was too full on, very technical and intense.

I believe that it is not over until it is over, everything worketh well for those who love and trust in the Lord.
The heart of a king in in God's hand. God's promises are that His thoughts for us are not of evil but of good and He said He will bring us to our expected end. If God has destined Canada as our expected end, it will be so IJN, Amen.

what I don't know is how long does it take them to review an interview. I wish everyone good luck in the process.

Hi Anyi, l like your faith and believe the final decision will be in your favour. Review of your interview could take 1 month or 2 max. Good luck to u.

Hi. A friend of mine who got MR on Wednesday just realised that his ecas was updated same day (processing started on 28th of May 2013) that MR email was received. He said he checked his ecas the previous day and there was no update.

You should send DD as application fee of your son & original photos, therefore it is better to send all forms & supporting documents in original via courier or postal mail.

Obviously he is not able to communicate so answer should be NO/left blank/NA.

In order to add my newborn son to my pending application, I am filling out the IMM0008 again. I have few questions:

1. Can I scan and email all the requested documents and photographs or do i have to mail them hard copies.

2. "Are you able to communicate in English and/or French?". My son is only 2 months old, this questions doesn't apply buy I have to choose one option. English, French, both or neither? What should I put?

1. Can I scan and email all the requested documents and photographs or do i have to mail them hard copies. - Mail them printed and hard copies , in addition to IMM0008 , you need to send them "Additional Family Information" ie imm5406E for your self and your spouse.

2. "Are you able to communicate in English and/or French?". My son is only 2 months old, this questions doesn't apply buy I have to choose one option. English, French, both or neither? What should I put? - Write Neither , they understand this

We note that you now have a child and we require the following to be sent to this office within 60 days:

-updated IMM8 and IMM5406 forms for you and your spouse, to include details of the child

-documents for the baby: copy of the birth certificate showing the names of both parents, photographs, passport copy (bio page), processing fee of CAD 150 **a bank draft payable to The Receiver General for Canada is required**

Once the above document have been received, your child will be added to your application

You can send passport copy on later stage (once available). you need to send original documents

So we will get ECAS update before or on the same day when we receive MR email.
One thing which no body so far reported from LVO is Employment check.

If your employer confirms he is contacted, then your MR email is on the way. So keep in touch with employer as well.

This is not sure your ecas update before or the same day...some time it update after week or some time they never update the ecas

See, in my case, we got Mr on Jan 10, 2014 (it was around 2:00pm PST) and right after that when I saw ECAS there was no second line......I again checked ECAS in evening then there was 2nd line.

All LVO MR buddies,

I suggest you all to request CIC for in-person CIIP session in your respective countries. Once they will receive reasonable number of requests, they will certainly plan in-person CIIP session. I also suggest you to wait until you are pretty sure or receive written confirmation from CIC that in-person session is not possible, then you can go for online CIIP session.

This is just a suggestion; rest is your decision.

Hi guys...I received another reply from vcm who is program assistant today regarding my CSE.
he/she says that my file is awaiting review by an immigration officer n they will be in contact with further instructions once the review has taken place. They also mentioned tht passport copies r updated.


im actually confused n surprised with their reply as I was thinking they would mention abt bg checks running.


any ideas guys...?

I guess receiving MR before 2nd line in ecas automatically triggers ecas to be updated.
