Hello all, a quick question, what should be written there in RPRF Demand Draft " Receiver General for Canada" or "The Receiver General for Canada" ?

They are both correct.

In email they mention "The Receiver General for Canada" but you can make it without "The""

My draft for submission fee was made out to "Receiver General for Canada". It worked as I am waiting for PPR now.

They better be both correct. I just realized that I made the payment for RPRF out to "The Receiver General for Canada".

We never wrote before at the back of DD...is it mandatory...name, address, signature?

Passport Number
File No EXXXXXXXXX
Date of birth


I have done this for myself , my sisters , and many friends
Do not sign this DD any where , as you are not required to do so

Should we send photocopies of our passports along, or not...............but for sure we must write the following information on the back of DD (using lead pencil):

PA Name
PA DOB
File # / UCI #

Sir

Either print this or write with permanent black ink
I have always printed this , and have always done this for many friends , applicants

in my opinion, there is no need for consultant...application process is very simple...go to below link and find all relevant forms. See the checklist and follow the instruction...go for it.

What a casual move for such a highly important tasks. This shows that they are overworked.

by looking with timelines of Maria, farhan etc.....they are May 13 applicants and now in the phase of RPRF/visa request (after one year of application).....I believe LVO also trying to issue visas with in one year time frame with some plus and minus of month.
I Filed my application in August 13 and they ask me additional docs in March 14 end stating that give them 04 months to complete the process or recieve feedbacks regarding our application as they mentioned generally in all receipent mails those have been asked fro additional docs.
I sent my docs on 10 april 2014. So, 04 months from april means august 14. exactly after one year of application.

A good number of May applicants including me are still waiting for medical.
