Hello bro did u ever apply for GCMS notes?do we get to know about the future of application by these notes?do they give info by the time they are released e.g website saus u will get notes by 04-01-15 if u apply today.it will have info till that specified date.does it take 45 days to get them? What is realiable method to pay for these notes?Thanks

The PPr email says "Your permanent resident visa will expire one year after the date of your medical examinations. If your passport or the passports of your spouse or dependent children (if applicable) expire on an earlier date, the visa will expire on the earlier date."..

So i would suggest that all of your family members passport should be valid for ~14 months since the time of Medicals. However, if you can travel as soon as you receive the visa.. you may even apply with a passport with 3 months left.. in that case you will get visa for three months..

The main issue is that the visa officer will contact you whether you can travel within three months or not. if you say you can , they will issue the visa. if you say you can't then they will ask you to get a new passport and this will delay your application by another 2-3 months..

If i were you, and my passport has less than 14 months left, then i would reapply for a new passport so that i can get maximum validity of the visa. this will help me in planning my landing carefully.

Also, before the PPR, VO will ask for updated information chart, the sole purpose of which is to allow applicants to furnish the details of their updated pp's. So go ahead and get new pp for your wifey.

Usually when ppr comes . Passports should be submitted whithin hiw many days ?
I have an important business trip after 40 days and if I received ppr before that. I'm afraid to submit the passports and not get it back before my trip

GCMS notes is more than 40 pages document which shows your detail, family member details, points, current status of file.. also it shows due dates, which is the next step, but most of the time it passed dates.

it do give useful information if some activity is done. i ordered in December, nothing was started at LVO. so did not get any useful info from it

Ok thanks bro then it is all matter of luck if we dont get activity in notes.because u know its delivered in 45 days and if v get MR by then wats use of this.this is way to get urself satisfied

Yes i have applied for GCMS notes and i have found it very useful. Especially if one is concerned with points or are not sure how much points they gained for work experience you can clearly see how much points the VO has given you. Also, click.trick has summarised quite nicely what it contain. moreover, if there are any issues or if your visa officer is concerned with any information that you submitted, they may put a note on your file and you can read any information that the visa officer put into the file from your GCMS report. It usually takes 30 days.. but in some cases maximum is 45 days.

The visa officers are very flexible with deadlines.. If you contact the visa officer with your genuine issues then they will help you out. There are ways in which you can delay your processing. For example you can wait until the last week for your medicals.. then use up all your available time for RPRF and updated information chart and in this way you can easily get 1 month extension.

I got 30 days to submit my passports... some people get 60 days...

i used the http://visafile.info/ website and paid through pay pal. Do you have any friend in canada, in that case you can get it for free i guess... but they will have to apply for you...

If they are conducting checks, shouldn't there be a second line updated, at least, to show that the application is under process?

That is still a mystery on when does LVO or any VO updates the 2nd line... before, during or after background check? Different applications have different experiences and explanations. I advise you to hang in there and avoid too much thinking because you will be pissed everytime you think of it.

When you have a simple application and no loopholes, you will easily get the MR, PPR, etc. Otherwise, you will just have to wait and see.
